El jaguar restaurant, mariscos & bar

My experience at this restaurant was very bad and I will not be coming back. The food had no good flavor and the prices were too high for the quality offered. The service was disappointing, as the waitresses seemed more focused on having fun among themselves, talking, dancing and enjoying themselves, than on properly attending to the customers. On top of that, the dishes arrived cold, which made the experience even worse. Overall, I do not recommend this place at all, as there are many other restaurants where you can eat better and receive much more professional service.

Me and my girl order 10 pounds of crawfish to go they tasted like crawfish water they look season, but they were really not when you opened them and ate them and most of them were just hard to crack to get into a bunch of them came with straight tails. That means that they were dead before you put them to boil some them felt smooshy I do not recommend the crawfish

I had a great experience at El Jaguar Baytown! The seafood was fresh and full of flavor, and the micheladas were on point. I especially loved the tostadas and the seafood cocktail, definitely a must try. Service was quick and attentive, which made the whole visit even better. Plus, they had live music when I went on a Saturday, and it really added to the vibe. I’ll definitely be coming back when in town.

Got the beef and cheese enchiladas through Uber eats. Got it quick delivery was perfect opened it up and the ground beef was burnt, clumpy, and looked like it had rat shit in it... Never again

This place is awesome.
I loved the ceviche and their buttered shrimp boil. The place is very clean, service is fast, the ambience is great. They have music playing, it may be too loud for some people, if that bothers you, go next door to el Leon. This place also has kareoke on Sundays. Not sure if other days as well. Their dj and the staff know how to have fun for sure. Bring your friends or your spouse, you’ll for sure have fun!

Edit: I did go a few more times and during one of those visits I did find a roach leg in my margarita :( then a separate visit, they overcooked our food a lot. They were nice about it though

Extremely loud music and overpriced bland food. The drinks are good but even more overpriced than the food. Just go to one of 6 other Mexican restaurants in the area and avoid thos place.

Best mexican restaurant I've been to.

Great place to get Mexican food! Prices are decent, service was good and laid back, and the loud music allows you to kick back and enjoy yourself or get up and dance! And it's also open late so it is perfect for those who refer to step out a little later.
