This restaurant is good for the whole community not just truckers. I got food to go as I need to minimize stops and got 3 meals in this order. Everything was fresh, good quality, and the correct items I ordered. When people said it is better than Cracker Barrel I didn't believe it but was willing to try it. I was pleasantly suprised. Black Bear Dinner is so much better than an Iron Skillet which I would not try again. The portions are hearty. There were more blueberries between the pancakes than in the photo. The only thing I would add is red and green peppers and onions to the loaded homestyle potatoes. Mine had bacon and cheddar which was still good. I tried to order online but couldn't place my order so had to call it in. I got cinnamon roll French toast, fruit, and a blackberry bear claw. This should last me 2-3 day or meals.

This is a place I would definitely recommend. the service was superb, Gina is a great and very efficient waitress
Lovely little place we found on our road trip. Amazing value! Huge portion sizes for a reasonable amount. The biscuits were yummy. The omelettes were insanely big. Great stop for fun cabin themed ambience and hearty food. Good options for vegetarians too! Servers were lovely as well

Love Black Bear but this location was disappointing. Got omelet to go and almost not able to eat because of grease! Didnt have time to return it so just chocked it up to a DO NOT come back. Could have been just wrong timing or they were having a bad day.. dont know but sure was not Black Bear quality.
