We’d been traveling through some southern states and really needed some good Mexican food - specifically tacos. There were a bunch of restaurants listed but most were not open yet or were closed. I found Carlito’s and since it’s a pretty easy off then back on the Interstate we decided to give it a try. Thank goodness we did. It was 10:00 am and there were a few folks eating. Our server brought us menus, chips, and salsa almost immediately. Then she was back with our drinks and then our food. It tasted so good! The customers were friendly and our server was very on top of things as well as friendly and kind. We would definitely go back again.

PS - the outside looks run down but it’s in fine shape inside. Don’t let that deter you.

Ate here in the 90's, ate here 3 days ago. Same outstanding food !!! Got the Big Ol Burrito. Just as good now as it was then. Don't pass on this spot for great Mexican food.

Bar-Tender is lively and service was great! Grabbed lunch special and orders to go were quick, When in Beaumont, you gotta visit!

I won't be back. The margaritas are wine based but they aren't good. Actually tasted like they were watered down. They put way too much cheese on the tacos. Chips were broken in small pieces but the salsa was amazing.

Salsa made me say wow out loud.
Breakfast tacos were good.
$15 for a guisada plate that I did not enjoy at all. ( Could not get it as a taco, had to get it as a plate. )

Supreme Nachos are not so supreme. Just lettuce & tomato added. Thought sour cream & guac was missing from our to-go order. Called and was told that is extra. If I recall right, it used to be included when I started eating here over 20 years ago. Called and asked for a manager, told there wasn’t one.

This place was cute and nice. The waitress was nice and the food was delivered quickly and was great. The atmosphere was good and I would recommend this place. It is kid friendly and wasn't to packed with people. The portion was hugh.
