On a previous post that was not favorable at all here we are 5 years later and you'll notice five stars .This is the place I remember. We've been coming here since the business was new even though the name is the same it has changed to corporate hands but now it is the way I remember it from all the years we've enjoyed it. We came last week and now we're back again having some of our old time favorites. The portions are great the food is really good the staff has always been friendly and evidently now they're open to suggestions. LOL we'll be coming back frequently from now on. Good food at modest prices. Absolutely a good place to bring the family.

So my family and I ate over their last Friday after my moms funeral. The waitress was pregnant and so was waiting on us. She didn't refill our drinks and she spilled hot cheese on my uncle as she was giving him his plate, and she didn't apologize to him for dropping it on him.
I understand that she pregnant and probably going through something, but thats no excuse for bad service. And we where the only party in the whole restaurant.
The worst service i have ever had, I haven't been to that restaurant in a long time and i see why.

This is a great halfway meeting place between Houston and Lafayette. The wait staff are very friendly and easy going.There is no patio seating though and it is not dog friendly.

Last time we will be here. Horrible service. The waiter messed up our food…and we ended up still paying for it. It wasn’t even busy. So sad because we have been coming here for over a decade.

At 6 pm its dead. Half the chips were soggy and bendy. Ordered beef fajitas for 2. The rice, beans and pico came out 10 mins before the rest of the food. The pico was just tomato and onion. Fajitas came out and it was only 9 pieces of meat on it. That was 1 and 1/2 pieces on each of our tacos.That was 43 bucks. For basically an appetizer. After the food was brought out it took the waitress 30 mins to check on us. Brought the ticket and disappeared again. After hollering to the back that we wanted to pay, a confused waitress came out wondering why ours didn't come back to cash us out.All in all I still had to cook dinner when we got home.Not worth it. Won't be returning.
