I very rarely leave reviews, however I have some thoughts on this restaurant. I would say the overall ambiance and decor are not quite up to par considering the cost of the food here. My husband and I were seated in a room completely by ourselves which was great and felt like a private dining experience. We each ordered a cocktail and then we also ordered a bottle of wine. The cocktails were great and I was impressed with their wine list, probably the best I've seen in this area. Our bottle of wine was about $150, so pretty pricey. I mention the price because after our first glass was poured, a fly flew into my husbands full glass of wine and proceeded to swim around in the wine. While this is not really the restaurants fault, when we told our waiter he just took the full glass of wine and them brought back a new (empty) glass and proceeded to just pour another glass from our bottle. No mention of taking X amount of dollars off the bottle or anything. So we essentially lost about 1/4 the bottle of wine just being poured out. We ordered the deviled eggs and the baked brie for appetizers and those were both delicious. For our main course we both ordered the fillet oscar. When our entrees were brought to the table we both cut into the steak and it was completely raw. We both eat our steaks medium rare, so we are use to eating warm red steaks however this was RAW. So we sent our plates back and they were brought back out about 10 min later cooked to a good medium rare. The food itself had good flavor and everything was seasoned great. We finished with dessert and that was also very good. So my overall take away is that the food is good, however there were a few too many stumbles to justify a $300 ticket. Next time we will just go into Houston for date night, like we normally do. I was excited to see a fine dining restaurant in Beaumont but left with a bit of apprehension if I'm going to return or not.

Hands down, best steak we have EVER had! They hit it out of the park last night on all levels. Service was amazing, atmosphere was perfect, and food was absolutely amazing. Our new favorite! We look forward to the next chance we have to eat here!

This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable server, refreshing drinks, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, and wonderful dessert. It was excellent. I recommend to everyone!

Can't comment on the quality of the food just the experience/first impression. Online reviews and photos made this look like a fine dining venue. Does not open until 5pm. Called at 3pm to see if a reservation would be needed. Was informed it won't be necessary.Went here for the first time yesterday 6/5/2021 to treat our father out on his birthday. Arrived at 7:30pm. Parking lot was alarmingly full. Entrance had a foul smell (like a wet dog prob due to the wooden umbrella holder not cleaned and the recent rains).Hostess was a sweet old lady. She went to go see if any tables were available. As soon as she came back some short tempered little man came out of the office near the entrance and shockingly yelled at her in front of us "you need to keep this phone on you at all times! Don't let it happen again" then stormed off into the restaurant. Didn't even apologize to us for his rude behavior. We just looked at each other in amazement.The old lady continued (as if it was normal) to escort us to our table. Table was not ready. We had to painstakingly stand and watch the hostess slowly bring chairs from other tables. Would of been more professional to have this done before taking us to the table. Left a burning candle in one of the chairs. Almost burnt the stained table linens.Went to order appetizers soups and salads. Came back 10 mins later apologetically saying that they are out of lettuce (so no salads) and if we still wanted it will take some time since they sent someone to go buy some more. Also didn't have few of the appetizers that were on the menu like the stuffed mushrooms or the pork belly that we saw on the online menu.For my father this was the last straw and asked that we leave. We agreed and told the server to give us the check for the one drink we received. 9 minutes later no check. Had to walk up to bar and request/pay in order to leave.Thought this place was supposed to be fine dining. Just turned out to a ruined night. Saltgrass and Pappadeux is a better dining experience than this place.Advice to staff.-Keep conversations and confrontations private out of gueat view and hearing.-prep table and chairs BEFORE taking guests to their table so they are not standing there in the middle of the restaurant waiting.-probably do an inventory prior to opening doors to ensure you don't run out of food. Especially lettuce.... if you do start to run low maybe be better informed and alert staff before they put in orders. Kitchen staff should know this well in advance to alert management.

We had an excellent brunch here, the atmosphere is wonderful and the food was excellent. My wife, daughter and myself enjoyed talking to Mr. Pate. Highly recommended for brunch, its a high end experience and the prices were very reasonable too.

For a restaurant rated 5 stars. The only thing 5 star was the service of the waiter. The food and management was terrible. Ordered a New York steak medium well. More on the rare side. Received well done plus. Asked to order another item as they ran out of my first order15 minutes later. Ordered steak diane. Recieved 45 minutes after that. My wife and couple we were with were done long ago with their meals. When I recieved my 2nd meal. That came raw. Was that purposely done or is it that they don't have a real chef. Seems that way. We, and our friends will never go back there again. And they made me pay a additional price for the steak diane. $5.00. It's not the money. Just the principle. The meal should of been gratice. Not charged based on their incompetence. Never Again.

What a wonderful place for a date with my wife. Everyone was great. Heather, our waitress made some awesome suggestions that we absolutely enjoyed. My wife said that the Shrimp and Grits was the best she's had, and my steak was perfection.We will definitely be going back!
