Came yesterday for the first time place is nice. Food was ok. But service was not so great. He probably had an off day restaurant didn’t seem to busy. He wasn’t very attentive. Don’t usually write reviews but he also took everyone’s order and walked away didn’t take my order. We also went to celebrate my wife birthday and it just threw us off. For a place like this I expected better service.

Vibes were great . Place is truly beautiful. The drinks are good . Food ? Yea no flavor . Everything is cooked good just no flavor at all . For the price should be melt in your mouth busting with flavor. Not here tho .. for the price 50/50 if it’s worth it

I’m giving this place 3 starts because I liked the concept, but this place really seems a little prejudiced. Me and my husband came here for a date night after catching a flat , as the only option open late, and the server took a while to greet us. And over all she never really came back to check on us after taking our order. Instead she talked to the guest at the table next to ours while I sat at my table waiting to order another bowl of rice for my gumbo…. Mind you my big bowl of rice came with a small not even full cup of rice. I’m from the south, we eat a lot of rice with our gumbo anyways there was another African American couple that came in after us and they were never greeted, and sat well over 30 mins before being acknowledged idk the place is cute but the service here is a lil questionable.
Very nice place! Food is top notch and service was unmatched Our waitress Carley was phenomenal and made our anniversary dinner fantastic. A night to remember!

Here’s a secret you should know about Hearsay Beaumont the best night to go to eat there for dinner is every night😉. I wanted a steak and I got a steak. I wanted the atmosphere and I got the atmosphere. I wanted an awesome waiter named Connor. He kept me engaged with quick service and additionally I believe the manager came to my table and make sure that I had everything I needed was a bonus, I even got 10% discount for being military. Being a visitor to Beaumont, it is still weird seeing an empty downtown with it ghostly presence and then one building lively and trying to push the nightlife out to the rest of the downtown area. I didn’t even get to go upstairs and I want to bring friends to check that place out. Great job team. -RtT

Aside from it taking 30 minutes for a server to even see us with a reservation, the food was incredible. And the drinks were really good.
