In Beaumont for work of several months’ duration. Just the place for dinner after Vigil Mass at the Cathedral. Everything on the menu so far has been tasty, rapidly prepared , and generous portions. My part of the country you cannot get a proper Tex-Mex tamale…boy,can you get one here!
They loop Tejano music videos on their screens, and frankly they’re quite a delightful accompaniment to lunch or dinner. If you’re not from Texas, you probably don’t appreciate it as much as an East Coast Gringo like I am does.
The family that owns and runs the place are always friendly and welcoming.
Will return as often as I can when I’m craving Tex-Mex after Mass.

We got the 3 tacos de asada I felt the meat could have a bit more flavor and the tortillas seemed handmade yet they seem a bit off. Salsas were not spicy and also missing a bit more of flavor. I think the onion should be the white one for the tacos not the sweet yellow one. Overall it wasn’t so bad.

Home made corn tortillas were amazing. The fish tacos were so, so good. The queso is thick and delicious. Both the red salsa and green salsa were fire. Refried beans are most definitely home made as well. I’m not gonna lie we were a little nervous because the reviews are all over the place, but we will absolutely be back.

I was fortunate enough to stumble into Las Cazuelas as I passed through town. The molcajete tarasco was absolutely phenomenal and massive; can easily feed 2. The service was attentive and atmosphere was fun. Will be recommending this place more

My husband & I have been dining at Las Cazuelas faithfully for over a year now. Every single visit has been amazing! The food is truly top tier, I’ve never tried a dish I didn’t like. We are Birria connoisseurs & we have tried it everywhere ….. no one’s compares to Las Cazuelas! Their tacos are full of meat, cheesy & crunchy. The consommé isn’t watered down, and it’s very flavorful. We’ve visited both when the restaurant was empty & when it’s busy. On weekdays, weekends and everything in between. The food is always amazing, and believe me if it wasn’t to our standards- the owners would make it right. They are the sweetest family owned business & they truly care about their customers. Would recommend 10 out of 10. It’s worth the drive downtown.
Cheese Enchiladas had no flavor, store bought tortillas. Rice was old and dry, no flavor and the beans were liquidy and no flavor!
Beef & Chicken Fajitas were undercooked!!!!! Beef is pink and Chicken pink! Rice was old and dry, no flavor and beans were liquidy and no flavor! Store bought tortillas warmed up!
Chile Con Queso was supposed to have ground beef in it and there was none!
The only thing good was the Salsa! It was warm and full of flavor. The chips were stale😞
So disappointed w/this establishment. Waste of money! Will not be ordering from here again! Thanks, but No Thanks!
