When this location first opened it was awesome, now, not so much. I work in Beaumont so I’ve came to Laynes a couple of times to where I’ve been disappointed. On a previous occasion, my food was so salty i literally had to get a napkin and wipe the food off. I couldn’t bring it back because I was on my lunch break and I didn’t have time go back once I opened it.
Yesterday 10/4/25 my daughter and I passed through on the way out and ordered us a kids meal. The lady at the window was very friendly and polite so that was a plus but that food. Horrible! This is a prime example of check your food before you drive off in which we didn’t. I got down the road and my daughter and I took our food out and was disappointed. The batter was literally gone off the chicken tenders. I’m not one to complain but this is not what I expected. Hopefully they can get back to where they started and provide exceptional service/food.
Was not impressed, chicken was not crispy and fries were a little stale like they had sat under a heat lamp a while not terrible but Nothing special.

Love Laynes! If you like Cane's, be ready for the flavor. It was really good, I may consider going here vs Cane's. The toast was a bit weak compared to Cane's, but other then that, 5/5 food!

So good!!! Chicken is seasoned perfectly and the fries are crispy but not greasy. Generous portions too. Layne sauce is the boss. Why aren't there more locations????
