Stopped by to get some traditional pork tamales. Honestly, usually tamales are tamales to me. But both the sauces and the tamales themselves were notably good. The employees were really nice too. Highly recommend them for all around great tamales!

Tamales are actually good, maybe they are more hospitable if you sit down to eat but I got a couple of tamales to go to try them and they act like it's a inconvenience to ring you up. Green salsa is good

So the reasone for the 3 stars is the portion size of the rice was small rice is fairly cheap and usually served in abundance and the reason I'm complaining is because the rice was perfect! I would have loved more of it although at same time I feel the 18 dollars I paid for four beef tamales with rice and beans with a drink was fair for today's economy they can still afford to go heavy on the rice

I had a tamales plate with one of each favored tamales. They were A1.
I paid$14 for a small portion of food and I’m not happy about it. I could have gone to Taco Bell down the street, Casal Ole or a Mexican buffet in port Arthur and paid the same amount of money and gotten full. Their beans and rice is good. Their Asada tacos ate bland and they don’t have avocado sauce which every Mexican food place has. I won’t go here again and thru are down the street from my house. That’s just too much money for food that died t taste great. It’s just okay. I can see why the two times I went in there there was no one there.

I could have gone to Taco Bell down the street, Casa Ole or that great Mexican buffet in port Arthur and paid the same amount of money and gotten full. Their beans and rice is good. Their Asada tacos are, the tortillas were rubbery and the meat bland and they don't have avocado sauce which every GOOD Mexican food place has. I won't go here ever again and they are down the street from my house. I wouldn't recommend anyone here either. That's just too much money for food that didn't taste great. It's just okay. I can see why the two times I went in there there was no one there. This will be the last. Also they have a kid screaming in the kitchen both times I was there. That is concerning.

Great Tamales! We always get tamales from Marisela’s during the holidays and they always deliver delicious results! Do yourself a favor and enjoy! Tell em Kevin sent you?
My husband and I stopped by for breakfast burritos, and they were so good! The tamales here are fantastic and I've ordered them for parties before but we had never eaten breakfast here. They have plate dinners, lunches, and a really great breakfast. Please give them some love because I think people forget they're located here. It would be a shame to lose this family business!
Very nice tasting Tamales and very kind people. I took some extra for my family member’s Ship voyage!

I had been craving tamales all day and got these last minute. Great service and even better food! The cheese jalapeño were my favorite although the chicken were a close second! Their green salsa is spot on! Will definitely be back, thank you!

The lady who took care of me, definitely was very sweet and very kind but the food no. Not worth it. For it being Barbacoa, dry like the grass out here and on top of that Disappointing to be even considered Mexican food. Just no. The tamales were alright but too damn small. A piece of cheese and 1 jalapeño rolled like a taquito. Screw that. Wasn’t worth my $15.
