Took me back to late 70s, early 80s Houston when Monterrey Houses were still around. I was told this is the last Monterrey house in Texas. Food took me back in time, especially the queso dip/nacho....will definitely return soon.
Delicious food and great staff and a great price! Stoped in this place for the first time about 3 years ago and have been coming in anytime I drive through Beaumont. Delicious place and great atmosphere!
So I’ve came here since I was a little kid… well lately when I’ve come there’s a waitress that does our table 80% of the time and she doesn’t like us and isn’t friendly or just rude.
My mom decided to tell the owner and all the owner had to say is she’s been here 30 years she’s not rude. Well ma’am she acts like she hates to see us come or something. I see her be friendly to others just not us! Not even a smile!
