I’m sad….i stop here countless times a year for birthday cakes and treats for people, my birthday was yesterday they closed early so I couldn’t get my treats so my husband stopped on his way home from work today and the only baby cake (chocolate mousse one with the dipped strawberry on top) was fresh. He bought 4 and the other three had to have been made a day or two ago…hard and dry. 😔 $45 for old dry cake…..come on Rao’s! I was so excited… those cakes should have been tossed not sold. (I cut small pieces of each to eat in the photo)

Whenever I come to Beaumont, Texas, this is where I love to get my coffee. Excellent service hospitable people and a lot of variety for coffee. You can come to do some work or meet a friend or just enjoy a cake. Highly recommended.

This used to be my go to coffee place but I've officially had it and am done with them. I know they won't have fast times for their food and coffee like the Buck of Stars but when it consistently takes 20+ mins to get a single coffee that's a MAJOR issue. And the drive thru takes even LONGER.They also NEVER have their kolaches available. Doesn't matter what time I come they are always 'out'. I'm DONE

I went through the drive-thru which took an unusually long time considering I only ordered a crème brûlée and I get it only to be disappointed that they always have the best desserts this one in particular but I was surprised to and upset to see there was no crunchy topping like a typical crème brûlée, no vanilla bean in the custard like it usually has and even the custard itself did not have the same texture it was thick and not the same taste. I don’t know if it’s just a new cook but this was so disheartening.
I recently visited Rao’s Bakery and decided to try an assortment of their macarons. While the texture was good, the flavors were underwhelming and bland. At $2.25 each, I didn’t feel like they were worth the price. Unfortunately, the customer service was also disappointing. The staff seemed indifferent to us and were in a rush, even though there was no one else in line. To top it off, the doorknob in the ladies' room fell off, and when we notified the staff, they simply sighed. Overall, it wasn’t the experience I was hoping for.

I work from my laptop and I've never wanted to work at Rao's because the WiFi was hit or miss but now they've gotten it under control and it has become my GO-TO spot for my "laptop lifestyle"!
Their self serve coffee is great and the staff is typically very nice.
They have great booths to sit in at the Bmt location so that makes it a wonderful working experience!
