Just bought $104 worth of cakes/pies. Very busy with several customers in line. In order to pick up my order had to go to different register. People behind me had to go to a different register when it was their turn. Employee wearing headset had to bag my coffee beans. Next guy in line was being ignored so I asked coffee lady where did he need to stand to get a coiffed. Obviously perturbed she said he needs to get in line with rest of the customers because she said he needs”I’m not waiting on him”! I told him that she said he needs to get in line with the rest of the customers??????? Whatever happened to multitasking and friendliness?

For my daughter 10th birthday we ordered cake with blue color because that’s her favorite color . We when to pick up and they made with white color. We ask what they can do they said they have to remake it take 2 hours. And we don’t have time to wait . What the point if they can’t do simple things. They mess up whole party.

Rao’s, especially this location, feels like it has become a local institution in Beaumont. That’s a good thing, too, as Beaumont needs “third places.”
We’ve been coming to Rao’s for years. It’s an inviting spot to gather with friends or family, get some remote work done, read a book, or simply enjoy a dessert break.
I appreciate its consistency. Rao’s has a variety of baked goods, gelato, and desserts, as well as several coffee drinks. The “Al Pacino” is my favorite beverage there. For sweets, you can’t go wrong with some red velvet cake or key lime pie, in my opinion.
The vibe/atmosphere is really what makes this place. Great “coffee shop” experience. Appreciate how they change things up on the inside to reflect the seasons/holidays. If you want to go where the locals go, check out Rao’s!

Stopped by on the way to the casinos. Had the Dancing Goat coffee in a heated mug with a blueberry cream cheese muffin. A real treat.

I’m sad….i stop here countless times a year for birthday cakes and treats for people, my birthday was yesterday they closed early so I couldn’t get my treats so my husband stopped on his way home from work today and the only baby cake (chocolate mousse one with the dipped strawberry on top) was fresh. He bought 4 and the other three had to have been made a day or two ago…hard and dry. 😔 $45 for old dry cake…..come on Rao’s! I was so excited… those cakes should have been tossed not sold. (I cut small pieces of each to eat in the photo)
