Soup was cold. Asked to be microwaved, it was still cold. Ordered the grilled chicken sandwich. I got cold cut. I went back and they questioned me about what I ordered after I even pointed to it on the menu. They reluctantly agreed to give me the correct sandwich. ?!?!? The new sandwich was breaded chicken, and NOT grilled at that. ?!? I gave up.

I was surprised about the strength of the house coffee so if you're looking for an affordable spot to sit and or dine on a whole selection of lunchable snacks and or light desserts like Scilian Cheescake I'm having. I would definitely suggest the Dowlen location. My ticket included house water, house large coffee and and sluce of the Scilian Cheescake. Didn't leave in a sour mood and wasn't extremely heavy.
Enjoy!

I've been coming to Rio's for a long time. But over the last year or so they've been hiking the prices up. I went in tonight and bought a macaroon and it was almost $4 for one. A lady next to me ordered a small pastry it was almost $10. Are the desserts at Rao's the best I've ever had no. Far from it. About half of them are good. But the pricing is where I drawl a line. I'm not sure if they're hiking the prices up because they just built a new store in Mid County. But I hope their not passing the price on to their customers. On a last note the tiramisu is very disappointing and very dry. And I had issues with getting old pastries or desserts they were not fresh.

I love the coffee from this place and I usually love the bakery items as well. But today I ordered 6 chocolate covered strawberries and needless to say the strawberries were rotten. I bit into one and couldn’t stomach the rest. It was mushy and sour tasting. Like I said, usually the food here is amazing but I hope the owners see this and double check the strawberries before dipping them.

I’m really disappointed writing this because I actually love Rao’s Bakery and buy coffee here at least once a week. It’s been one of my favorite local spots and I’ve never had an issue until today.
We stopped in for coffee and had brought outside food for my niece’s kids who hadn’t eaten yet. When staff asked us to put it away, we immediately did. Despite complying, management still told us we had to leave completely. What made this especially upsetting is that I rarely go out. My daughter has autism, so simple outings like a coffee date aren’t easy for us.
I understand policies exist, but a little compassion and flexibility would have meant so much, especially for a loyal customer. The lack of empathy made us feel unwelcome, which was really sad considering how much I’ve supported this place.

Best coffee in town, best baked goods in town, 1930 art deco feel.

No joke I'm typing this review in the drive through after waiting 27 MINUTES for a coffee and croissant. It's 8:47 am and I'm the only car in line. Literally go to Starbucks for a faster serice and same price or Sertinos for a faster walk in. NEVER go to Rao's for anything other than picking up a cake.

Order a cake for my Mother’s 90th Birthday, provided a picture of color and how I wanted decorated. It looked horrible, just big blobs of icing on top and the cake was dry. Very disappointed
Hands down the best bakery I’ve been to. If you’re wanting to be in and out this isn’t the place. If you want an experience and a great baked treat this is definitely the place for you! They also have ice cream, yogurt, coffee, and food.

Natalia was the absolute sweetest, however Roxanne was incredibly rude to both me and Natalia when we were informing her of something she had misread.

I ate their Dubai tart today and it was fantastic! Perfect size and great taste. The chocolate itself is perfect. Please keep this item on the menu. It's going to be hard not to buy one every day. :)

Had the strangest customer service experience here the morning of November 11. I typically come in here to work on the weekends and always buy lunch and a drink. Before I do so, though, I place my bag down to reserve a table. As I am in the middle of placing my bag down the manager comes out to tell me to buy something. I tell her I am a regular and always do--mind you, I haven't made a move to sit down, I've been inside for about 15 seconds. Bizarre experience I've never had before. I would've appreciated some courtesy. I enjoy the atmosphere here, but perhaps Sertino's would have better sense not to harass their customers before they've even had a chance to walk up to the counter.

Every weekend I go to Raos for their PB cookies, they're my favorite. Usually I wait in drive-thru for at least 10 minutes, one time they even forgot I was out there and I had to call to remind them but that's a story for another day. Today they had 3 cars in front of me I just knew I was in for an extra long wait. But shout out to Ms. Ashley who was working drive-thru today because she said 10 minutes where! Thank you so much for being on point and also being so pleasant.

Rao's was a treat to find! Not being from the Beaumont area, we decided to take a chance one day and try something new while we were in town. It didn't disappoint. It's a cozy place to just sit and chat while enjoying some amazing food, coffee, or tea.
