Jaydon was the best waiter. He was so kind, funny and informative since this was our first time at this restaurant. We can’t wait to go again and request him. Halloween themed drinks were perfect. Pork belly appetizer was the best! 10 out of 10!

I’m writing this review while at the restaurant. While eating my food I can hear conversation with a manger with short blond hair to another employee the way she talked to this employee made me stop eating my food and loose my appetite. The food was wonderful but the manger needs to learn how to speak to her employees.

The Grill is a fantastic place to eat and listen to music. I had the red fish for dinner tonight stuffed with crab and served with asparagus and red potatoes - yall, that was a religious experience.
Big Daddy Danny has one fun place to go on a Friday night.

Ok, pics of the food do zero justice to the quality and flavor of this food. I’m a sauce person, this chef is a genius with sauces. Filet with garlic mashed green beens and the chimichuri sauce. But there were also olive oil and other infused oils that were amazing dribbled on the plate. The 7oz filet looked big and I’m going to figure out how to make a chimicurri topping, Amazing.
New favorite spot when visiting my daughter from houston.

Took way to long for drinks. Seems like the waitress was focused on a table where the owner was sitting. The appetizer came out in a decent time but was not something I would order again ended up leaving it. I never leave food.
Absolutely checks all the quality boxes. Great food, great service, awesome environment, live music, everything you can hope for and then some. Its definately a great experiance.

I was searching for a place to go for my birthday dinner that was not your typical chain restaurant. We were NOT disappointed choosing The Grill at Calder! From the moment we sat down, our server, Lena(I hope that's her name) was amazing, very attentive, funny, gave great suggestions for food and drinks and was just fun! The food was excellent, we had the Pork Belly appetizer and I didn't think Pork Belly and Fried Green tomatoes would go together but, oh was it good! I ended up having the Pichana and my husband had the Ribeye, both seasoned very well, the veggies were well prepared and fresh and the potatoes, mine sweet and his garlic mashed were fluffy and delicious. Because it was my actual birthday, I had my choice of a complimentary dessert and OMG a little slice of heaven in the Red Velvet Cheesecake dessert! It was AMAZING, not too sweet, a great combination of flavor, one not overpowering the next and the homemade whipped cream, yum!
The musician was great, she even sang Happy Birthday to me! We ended up staying until closing time, we were enjoying ourselves that much and had a chance to meet the owner and had a drink with him, he is the funniest and nicest man!
This place is a hidden gem and we will definitely go there again!

It was our first time trying this place and it didn't disappoint. Service was excellent, and the food was fantastic. The crab stuffed flounder was exceptional. Our server was Blade, and he was attentive and very polite. The cocktails were also very well done. Overall it was a great dinner date.
