I ordered oxtails with sweet potatoes and pinto beans. There was nothing to write home about the sweet potatoes. It just didn’t feel like anything was done to enhance the sweet potato and bring out the enriching flavors. The pinto beans taste grease to me. I had to add some slap ya mama to be able to eat it. All I can say is WOW! Me and my boyfriend are visiting from Oregon (a state that normally has a lot of vegetarian/vegan options) but I have never had a meal so flavorful and filling that is all plant based. This was definitely the best place I’ve been to that has both meat and meatless options. We will definitely be back the next time we visit!
