Wife and I decided to try a new place for date night. This was an unexpectedly great place! The grilled fish and shrimp were very tasty. My wife had the chicken and sausage gumbo. This was some amazing gumbo!

Nice dining experience from start to finish. I can’t name another place in town where the waiter thoroughly goes through the menu with you it’s like eating at an upscale restaurant in a big city without the $150 ticket for 1 person. Emmanuel was waiter I would definitely ask for him upon my return. While I was ordering I Also received a special visit from the Chef and she was able to twist the item I wanted to better fit what I actually wanted for the day. I’m guaranteeing you.a good time y’all go visit and experience for yourselves big thumbs up!!!!

The service was extremely slow — it took a long time for our food and drinks to arrive. (We had to ask NUMEROUS times for missing items... and eventually canceled them.) We were surprised to receive plastic flatware while dining in, which didn’t match the experience we expected. The drinks were noticeably watered down, and the Kool-Aid had a musty odor. Additionally, our server seemed uninterested and unengaged, which made the overall dining experience feel disappointing.

This place is Not Ready for business; there was No AC; our Drinks came to us room temp; No Ice; water was even room temp. No Condiments were provided according to our waiter they only had Ranch dressing No Tartar, No Ketchup. The Gumbo was salty and thick like Cream of Chicken soup; Red Beans and Rice was drenched in Crab Boil. I am a Hige Supporter of Our Black Businesses but this is one I will not be able to patronage.

No kid menu. So my kids ate a waffle and French toast which was overly priced. I got the shrimp/turkey neck boil. They used the frozen shrimp and they was overly cooked and edges was curled up. My husband got the lambchops they tasted good but no seasoning. Alcohol drinks tasted like cheap alcohol. The ice was already melting and my glass was sweating when I received it. The dining room was loud from the fans on but the temperature was comfortable.

Its now called Trust. The food and service was good and the vibe was good. They need to invest in a better ventilation system because it was smokey in the dining area. When I left, the smoke smell was on my clothes.
The service was horrible, it was only two people, and anytime I needed something, I had to look for the waitress. At some point I could see she was annoyed but so was my table. The drink choose was awful not well mix or flavorful. The food I can't express it enough, she put her soul into that food, it was amazing. It was smoking inside the lighting is very dim. I could see me going back to get a pick up order of food but to dine in is not an option.

I visited on 4/26/2025 I ordered the lobster and waffles. Waffles was cold, lobster was good but lil bitty piece of meat, eggs look like a kindergarten cooked. My friend ordered the lamb chops and waffles and her lamb chops were burnt and had a bad after taste(I tried to) her waffles were also cold. The server and cook was nice about it but for future reference clean that grill better. She sworn it was clean.

I would like to see this establishment succeed. But it’s a few things that could be better, the food the taste was good for the most part, put the portions were not that great. And when wanting certain drinks they were out and it was disappointing when it was 3 different kinds of drinks. Also the atmosphere was good but it was giving elegant and sports bar at the same time.

Me and my family came because of the hype on Facebook but just to get there and the floor ac was so dirty it was furry as a bear I wish I took pics but the table wasn’t wiped right then then I asked for a beer they had no beer but it wasn’t marked off then got a Coke and wanted a refill they said they ran out of coke and some lady had to go get it but by the time we left I never got it and we got a steak and it was chewy like gum, couldn’t finish it because almost got lock jaw and the portions of EVERYTHING was small I got the lamb chops which was tiny and over cooked with a tiny waffle,I had to order wings just to be somewhat full, while we where there my kids was still hungry because even for all of us we were still hungry and had to go somewhere else to get more and better food,I wouldn’ wouldve bought more food here but I was super disappointed from what we got so I didn’t want to spend anymore and just wanted to leave and when it comes to eating I spend usually nothing less then 50 a plate so I know food good food but the young brother was new but a great server.
