The entire place is great; the food selections, staff and atmosphere were so good if I’m ever in the area again that will be my first stop for dinner! I almost forgot they even had live entertainment on the night we stopped in as well. I’d call it a can’t miss kind of place if you’re in town!

Music is quite loud, if that isn’t your thing try to get a table away from the stage if possible. The food is great. Love the boudin quesadillas. Service can be slow on busy nights but the staff is friendly and hardworking.

My fiance and I just moved from Nevada to Texas and we’re looking for a great place to eat. Word of mouth recommended Tia Juanita’s. Our waitress (I think her name was Adrienne) was very kind. Our food came out at a very reasonable time! My only critique was that my Cajun Girl po boy had overcooked shrimp (very chewy) and the bread was soggy, but the seafood gumbo and potato salad were marvelous! We definitely will be coming back!
