If you haven't made a trip here you are definitely missing out. Everything was fantastic! We had the seafood platter and I can honestly say it was the best I've ever had. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.
I had not heard of Vautrot's, even though I was raised in an area about 15 miles south and on the other side of Beaumont. My granddaughter had just begun work there, so I had to go there and check it out. She no longer works there, but I can say: it is one of the best Cajun food restaurants ever. I had the fried shrimp and onion rings. The shrimp were seasoned to perfection and the onion rings were crisp and wonderful to the taste. I look forward to going back soon.

Went to Vautrot’s for the first time tonight and it was absolutely amazing. The hostesses were super friendly. Our waiter Chance was extremely nice and attentive. The food was DELICIOUS. Definitely will be going back for the cake and gumbo!
