We used to come here weekly and ever since it was sold/the original owners retired it has gone down hill significantly with the level of service and quality - both product and staff. Today was our final trip after a string of extremely slow service and payment issues. We always order smalls in a medium cup - kids are messy and the extra space helps prevent minor spills/leaks - and have never had an issue but today they charged us for medium cups. When we paid we just thoughts she misheard us and was giving us mediums. When the snow cone were finally passed out the window to us she asked is the sizing was ok since we asked for smalls in a medium cup. So we asked why we were charged for mediums then if we only received the small amount. We were told that because we got medium cups we had to be charged for mediums, which should not be the case. Unfortunately, this has tipped the scales and we’re now looking for a new show cone place.
Just not what it once was
Delicious Snocones, a great variety of flavors, and always the best service!

These sweet guys always make my day! So happy for the new management! Working out the transition and my pup still loves the famous doggy cones

This used to be THE place we'd go for snocones. We would drive multiple times in a summer from Alliance just for their snocones. Unfortunately, tonight will be our last visit. We are so disappointed in the taste. Definitely a change in syrup whether watered down or not the pure cane sugar syrup that was used with the original owners. Sad ending to a long standing family tradition.
New owner ruined this snow cone place by removing all the best flavors we had been buying for years. I could tolerate the higher price but the lack of flavor options has ruined it for me.

This used to be my go to for a snow cone because of the wide variety of flavors and the reasonable prices and serving sizes.
I agree with every recent post regarding the very basic and limited variety, they raised the prices to be unreasonable, especially considering the sizes have been reduced by half what they were before the new ownership reopened this location.
I’ve been a huge fan and repeat customer for many years, but I will not be back after this visit.
Remember the old adage “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”! It certainly applies in this situation.
Very disappointed and really a total waste of $6.00 for this < 9 ounce “snow cone”!
*** Updated to add that this was just a mixture of way too much syrup with crunchy ice bits mixed in like a slushy, except for the bottom 2 inches which was a solid hunk of ice and was inedible - see the picture attached!

Too expensive. New owners made it double the price for half the sole, limited sizes and limited flavors compared to the other owners

Extremely disappointed with the quality and price of the snow cones now. They are significantly more expensive than they were previously. They make them with either too much syrup or no syrup at all. Cream is extra, but they don’t put enough so why even charge for it? What’s also frustrating is the fact that they don’t fill the cup up with ice and pack it on top like they used to. Now it’s a cup that has too much space.
You would think an increase in price = more snow come, but instead you get less snow cone for a higher cost. Shrink flation to its finest ?
Also why remove the bench?!
Vegetarian options: It’s shaved ice with syrup made with water, sugar, and artificial flavoring.
Dietary restrictions: There sugar free options
Parking: Big parking lot
Kid-friendliness: Probably too sweet or too much sugar for kids but idk
Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp going up to the window

New ownership- prices increased a ton, the sizes and quality has decreased a bunch. Got 2 small (an extra small tbh) snowcones with barely any flavor for almost $9 dollars. Probably won’t be returning just not worth the money.

Apparently they overhauled everything this year and not for the better. Not even half as many flavors as they had in the past. The prices are higherthis year for fewer choices and the sizes now are shockingly smaller. I get that business is hard these days, but this is kinda overkill. On principle alone,I will drive the extra couple miles to the next place down the road
We enjoyed our snowcones from Al's. They were delicious!! It's not set up to enjoy your snowcone outside your car. There is not any tables, chairs or benches. This is a good place to order through the drive-through.

This stand used to make really good snow cones but since they reopened they shrunk the size of them and they don’t taste good anymore. They made the price go up to the point it’s not even worth it anymore.
