I’ve been here for the buffet and for regular dinner - both were great! The service is always great too - friendly, personable, and attentive. The last time we were there, we got the fattoush salad with a side of chicken shawarma, the combo dinner, and the Greek salad.

The veggie appetizer platter was really good. Several items on it. We had the gyro playter as the main entree. Meat was VERY authentic. Pita bread fresh. Rice very homemade. Definitely going back with the family.

My six year old had pizza. He is a very very very picky eater….but he approved and ate!

Been here twice and each time was fantastic. I first tried the chicken shawarma plate and had the chicken kabob plate the second time. Both were very juicy and delicious! I also tried the Al wadi feta dip as well as the mezze platter and spanakopita. They really know how to make delicious food here and the portions are generous for the price. We were 4 people and ordered 4 appetizers and 3 meals with extra drinks and 1 soup. Together with a 20% tip it was under $150 which is very reasonable for the quantity and quality of the food! Definitely will come here again!

Very middle eastern vibe in the best way. The food is delicious and authentic, the service was good, and the prices reasonable.

I really wanted to like this place, but I doubt I'll come back. I had the buffet.
I love the style of meats they served, but EVERY MEAT was very dry!!! I was soooo disappointed!! I've eaten these meats at places where it melted in your mouth, but they definitely didn't here. 😔
The pasta was just kinda warm, not staying hot. The falafel was very dry too.
All the veggies I tried were really good, so 3 star not 1 star review. If you're a vegetarian, I bet you think this place is amazing.
Service was minimal, but available if you wave them over.
The ambiance was pretty good and nice quality dishes/silverware/glasses.

The falafel was outstanding probably some of the best I've ever had!

Alwadi Cafe gains my vote for the best mediteranean restaurant in D/FW.

Delicious food and lovely restaurant ambiance. The chicken kabob was marinated in yogurt, it was perfectly tender.

Everything we tried was cooked similar to what we would cook at home. The food here is of the highest quality.

Our order:
Chicken kabob plate
Mazzeh platter with hummus and baba ghanoush
Kibbeh
Salad

Fantastic flavors and generous portions. It was our first time here and the owner was helpful in deciding what to order. We got the shawarma combo plate with hummus appetizer and baklava for dessert. The care and attention of the owner are evident in everything from the menu to the food to the fresh flowers on the tables! We will definitely be back frequently.
