Awesome meal!! Had the Salisbury steak today. It is a steak not a burger patty. Smothered in mushroom gravy and onions, fried okra and mashed potatoes with brown gravy, great decision on my part. Rolls were great. Finish up with a piece of cherry pie with whipped cream, yummy. Even asked for the pie to be warmed up, perfect!! Always come here hungry when you can.
The food was good and the service was great. I got a sourdough triple decker club sandwich with sweet potato fries. My waitress made me a cherry and peach flavored sweet tea (extra sweet, like I like it). My wife had a delicious stuffed almond crusted, Nutella, and banana French toast.
Food is always consistently good and the service is as well. Regardless of who you get as your server they are always very welcoming and take good care of you. I drive across town to utilize this eatery and will continue to do so. It definitely is worth my drive has nothing in my neighborhood can beat the consistency and quality of this establishment. Kudos to buttermilk Cafe! ?
