The best puerto Rican food in the midcity area !!!
I went to this restaurant about 8 months ago and the food was terrible.i order pasteles it didn't have any taste it was had and i was luke warm like it had been heated in the microwave. I Complaint to the waiter and the cook and they didn't even want to take it off the bill.Never again will i go there.I'm glad they are closed and not ripping people of with bad food.
This is the worst Puerto Rican restaurant that I have ever been. The food was terrible, the Skirt steak had all the fat and tendons left on the meat, the manposteao rice that I ordered was basically rice with sazón and a few vegetables, not even close to what it is supposed to be. And finally, one of the servers was wearing flip flops while tending to the customers, not very professional.
Really this pero rican/latin food, the torta cubana was rocking, the fries were perfect the shredded beef inside was pretty much a part in my mouth. The mofongo was great in taste just served different than what I've had in Puerto Rico or new York but the flavor is spot on, so was the fried pork. Not the safest place during Covid since the waiter hardly wore a mask and it's a small enclosed location, but take out for sure.
Always love this place. I’ve ordered it on door dash and it’s not the best. I’d recommend dining in. Authentic Puerto Rican food that’s reasonable.
Worst customer service experience I've ever had. We waited over an hour to get our food and was never asked for a drink refill the whole time I was there with my family. They forgot to put in our order of tostones and after multiple reminders, they brought it to our table extremely greasy and gummy. The carne frita, rice and beans tasted as if they were sitting on the plate for a long time because The beans had a dried layer on the top and the rice was dry. The food was obviously not fresh. If you're looking for good puertorican food and environment, do not go here.
Two stars because the food is great but we went Sunday and the service unfortunately not good. Although the woman was nice she was alone and never entered our order. Then when she realized it she said she couldn't find where she wrote it and asked us after 30 to 45 min of waiting to order again since she forgot to put it in. I think instead of using random paper to write orders it would help if they had ordering note pads to write everything down that way its not scribbled mixed with other orders.
Delicious puertorican cuisine. Very authentic and priced well. Good portions too! Favorite dishes: mofongo with churrasco and the tapitas sampler.
Poor customer service. If you are hungry, don't go to this restaurant. We waited a while in the lobby area and no one came to sit us down. We even saw another couple who had been sitting complain and my 7 year daughter said: mom, are you going to wait like them. Thank goodness we went to our car and called Adobo and in 15 our food was ready. We wanted to help out local people, but you need customer service to maintain a restaurant.
Loved the service but wasn't to pleased with the food.

The worst customer service. They act like they doing us a favor.
Worst food and the management sucks, worst experience ever
Terrible service, I felt bad for the waiter, he was working alone... my food was cold and my son soup too... I will never go back !!
The food is actually delicious. The mojitos tasted like lemonade and nothing more. We never got our alcapurrias for appetizer. The food took a long time. By the time the food came out I was ready to go since I never even got asked if I needed another drink. I don't blame staff as there was one waitress and one person in the kitchen. Dirty tables around. That is my last visit and its a shame because the food is good.
Well we went to try it out. We arrived and waited 10 minutes at the host's desk to be even acknowledged, although several employees saw us standing there. There were no available tables so we were offered to sit at the bar, but we chose to wait for a table. We waited for another 25 minutes and observed people, that had been sitting at their tables when we got there, getting impatient waiting for their food or drinks and walking outside. Still no tables for us. No customer service, at least acknowledging the time we had been waiting. Well, we got tired of waiting and went and got food at El Adobo in Irving.
