Ok, so I was staying at the Hurst Hilton Garden Inn… had a gift card.. came here. Had a great time! I love Pappadeaux and you will too! I had the best oysters, shrimp cocktail, and blackened salmon Caesar salad! Holy guacamole! The Guava Banana Mai Tai, and Three wheel Motion (LG), was over the top. I had a great time here, and you will too.
Been here before and had a great experience. Went at an odd time at 3pm, not sure if that was the issue. Raw oysters were not shucked very well and a little mutilated with shell in them. My wife’s Caesar salad was ordered with grilled chicken which was way overcooked, dry, tough and very salty. My fried oysters were not good at all… soggy and batter tasted old or the oil was old, not sure which, but tasted bad. For $30, I still ate them because I was starving. The only...
Always have a wonderful time at Pappadeauxs. I had the Mississippi Catfish Opelousas and it was fantastic. Catfish, oysters, and shrimp were cooked perfectly and that sauce was amazing! We also had the appetizer Oysters Pappadeaux and they were also amazing! Loved their hollandaise on it.....definitely worth trying. Service was good. It was during lunch and there was no wait. Enjoyed everything all around.
