Gives mediocre a new low...broken chips to small to dip in the so-so salsa, greasy flautas, old runny beans Grey in color more like a purée ... yellow rice passable. Really hungry from traveling all day, hoping I don't get sick...beer is cold. Service fairly slow, sad when there are only three other tables in use. Would not want to be here when they are busy , if they get busy. More authentic, flavorful Mexican found in central Florida vs being in Texas and so close to Mexico. Dinning room on the dingy side, will work as a last resorts!

Expensive ($76) for cheap tex-mex(taco bell) recipes. Plus, they got a meal wrong. They gave us a country fried steak for chicken tenders.

My wife, 2 others and I (all senior citizens) ordered from the discount menu. My wife had a crunchy taco and a tamale. I had a soft taco and a taco. The food was decent but not spectacular. I think the restaurant is popular at lunchtime but we were for dinner and it was not crowded at all. There is ample parking and it is easy to get to the restaurant.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, quick service, and nice, cozy bar area. As for the food: meh. I had one beef and one chicken enchilada. Chicken enchilada with sour cream sauce was pretty good. Not great. The beef enchilada was bland. Spanish rice was bland. Refried beans were pretty good, but had a strong smokey flavor and another strange flavor. Not great. Their chips were fantastic, tho! Real thin and flavorful. Salsa was good and flavorful, but too salty.

This is our family's favorite restaurant. Unfortunately, they aren't busy enough. But that is also a nice thing. We love Posadas and always get good service and it's always good food. They have excellent salsa and fresh tortillas and free ice cream or free fresh soppapias. Keep this place open and bring the family for an enjoyable night out. I get the large combination fajita nachos everytime.

We came in at 2:45pm. Only about 6-7 other tables occupied in the whole restaurant. We're seated immediately. I took the little one to the bathroom and when I returned we had menus, chips and salsa. The two other boys went to the bathroom. When they returned we still had not been offered drinks. A few minutes later a waiter came and said he'd be right back to get our drink orders. We continued eating chips and salsa....15 minutes later we still had not had anyone return to ta

Nice place. Just don't order the Nachos. That is what my son ordered and it is not what we expected. Literally 8 chips with melted shredded cheese. But I loved what I ordered! A litte pricey.

I tried Posados for the first time yesterday, attending a farewell luncheon for a colleague. The restaurant was colorful...typical Tex-Mex restaurant decor. We were on a tight schedule for a work lunch, and although we had made a reservation for our group, we were kept waiting a few minutes because they weren't set up for our group. Once they finally got us seated, we were promptly greeted and received the usual chips and salsa. They were also slow returning to take our orders, even though the restaurant wasn't crowded, despite being lunch time. They kept our drinks and chips topped off, but we waited almost an hour for our food to arrive at our table. I ordered the "$6.99" lunch special...which worked out to be almost $15 with drink, tax, and tip. My special included a soft taco, beef enchilada, beans and rice. The food was good enough, but not exceptional. Bottom line, if you've got $20 and an hour to spend at lunch, Posados is an acceptable choice for lunch.

My mom and I went here yesterday for a late dinner and enjoyed our experience. We were warmly greeted and shown to a table. They quickly brought out delicious chips and salsa and we were handed menus. I loved that the chips were super thin and the salsa had just enough heat and spice that made me want to keep eating more and more. They offered to bring out more, but I had to stop myself as I knew I would not have enough room for my meal and that was so the case! I decided on their chipotle chicken bowl with all beans for my meal and I was already stuffed by the time I got to the fifth bite. It was so good! The chicken was tender and spicy and I loved that there was an awesome mix of avocado, tomatoes, cilantro, and onions. It was super hearty and it will easily be my meal for the next few days. The Posado is not a super fancy place, but the food is delicious and made me get the good itis quickly. I definitely will be back!

I, like most of the reviews I've read, have to admit this place has certainly gone downhill. Either downhill or my taste in food, has significantly changed over the years. To start, we had the chili con queso, what in the heck we were served reminded me of grade-school nacho cheese. Yeah, it tasted that bad. I've noticed some places try to get away with that type of cheese, but I don't think so, not on my watch will you pass that by me. My honey had the bean and cheese nachos, something that can't be messed up. I had the two mini chimichangas and they were seasoned, very well. Their refried beans were very good and other than the chimichangas, I can't say much about anything else.

I really enjoyed the seafood soup! I am not sure if it was that we went on a Sunday and that they were dead but we had great service! Anyways, I had great service the food was delicious !. I cannot say anything bad about this place. I plan to go this Sunday for 5 de Mayo I hope the service does not disappoint.

We went here tonight and I was extremely disappointed. Service was very, very slow. The restaurant is dirty and dingey, along with dirty restrooms. We ordered queso, which we had to ask for tortillas with twice, then the enchilada dinners. There was barely any sour cream sauce on the enchiladas and no cheese inside- just chicken. I found not one but TWO chicken bones in my enchiladas! Safety and choking hazard! Our dinner lasted an hour and 40 minutes when it should have taken less than hour. If the waitress would have paid more attention or had less tables (it appeared she had every table in the front section) than it would have been a better experience.
