My wife and I love coming down here, we drive past six wineries to get here. We joined their wine club, and come Sundays for free wine!
We make a point of stopping at the Johnson City location every time we are in the area. The staff is always fun and easy to talk with and knowledgeable about their products. Wendy made some great suggestions based on my likes. Thanks for a great visit Wendy, you are a gem.
I give this place a 1 star, and I struggled to even give this rating and not lower a ZERO. We attended a large cousin birthday party with lots of family and friends. We're from the wine country in south Texas Hill Country and wineries there are beautiful. This place, well, it's a small plain building that didn't even indicate it's a winery. The inside, it's okay, ambiance is not too bad. We spent lots of money on food and wine and they made our entire party move to this hidden space behind the bar when we were in the main room most of the day until a band came in. Their excuse was that they forgot a band was playing and they wanted the space for their family and friends. To top it off, they turned the air off in that space while we were all in there. Then as we are leaving somebody from the winery came out to tell us a few of us had not paid our tabs. We all went in and proved we had all paid... really, how does this happen?!?! I'm not going to say what our race is, buuut! Beware, this place is questionable!
Love love love this place! Amazing wine and great food.
Excellent Quality and Friendly Service!
We had such a fun Saturday afternoon!I love the rustic vibe ambiance.Cindy and T were so sweet, fun and very knowledgeable of all their Texas wines. Will not be disappointed in this hidden gem!
Great wine 🍷 and friendly employees
I had an amazing time celebrating my birthday with my two boys! I love being a #boymom and experiencing wine tasting with them! This was our first time at Silver Dollar and although we had a few tastings we didn't like, I left with three purchased bottles. The 2020 Malbec was absolutely one for the books! Great ambiance and hostess. We'll be back.
Great wine, staff, location, and decor. Our fav. We come back regularly
Beautiful wines with exceptional experience, bringing that home town touch.

I had the pleasure of tasting Blood Moon Orange at a wine tasting in Arlington! OMG this wine ? is my new go- to. It’s very tasty and chocolaty a burst? full of flavors. ?
Cute, rustic style winery. I loved the ambience. I just tried their dries white and their driest rose. Very drinkable. They have a variety of dry and sweet wine options. Not amoung my personal favorite wineries in DFW but to each their own.
The wine is good. I've been here a couple of times, and they're always sold out of the pinot noir. Must be good stuff.Would give 5 stars, but i went there today, and the place was empty except for 2 guys and a girl sitting at a table and 1 other person sitting at the bar on a laptop. The people at the table were listening to a TV show really loud on their phone. Then, when that stopped, one of them started talking really loudly about his time in prison and where he was transferred to like it was a badge of honor. Then he started talking about fighting what he called a 90 year old woman there cuz he "wouldn't back down from anyone" and "if you wanted to step into a man's would you're going to get treated like a man." The bartender was sitting with them when she wasn't behind the bar and didn't bother mentioning to him that this is a really nice winery and no one wants to hear that talk while they're there. I asked the bartender to tab me out, stating that i couldn't sit here and listen to this guy openly and loudly talk about physically assaulting elderly women anymore. With that, she offered to comp my drink. I told her she didn't have to do that. She did anyway, which is fine. I asked her to charge me something so i could tip her, so she charged me $3, and i left. Might go back again, might not. We'll see. They're always out of the style of wine i like anyway.EDIT- in reply to their respose: I was just there. Your bartender told me your pinot noir is your most popular wine and sells out very quickly. Maybe they're ill-informed but that's what I was told. So no, I'm not confused at all, thanks. Maybe you're confused on thinking that's what the real issue is, considering i spent 2 sentences talking about that and 25 sentences talking about the clientele and your bartender. Shows where your priorities are as a business owner. Probably as blind to the issues in your own building a you are to the words you're reading right in front of your face. Definitely won't be returning now. Thanks for clearing that up for me.
It's a very nice winery with a cozy atmosphere.I enjoy their wines, and I highly recommend the wine flight sampler. The customer service there is above reproach.
Small women owned winery. They get the wine from their location in Frederickburg.Very nice. Cindy was pouring and she was very knowledgeable.
