Pretty solid place to get breakfast or lunch! I opted for lunch and got their club sandwich, which was way bigger than I thought it would be! They have a ton of breakfast options with most of your breakfast essentials. The restaurant is pretty nice inside and the service was great!

I normally don't write reviews, especially negative ones, but this is unacceptable. I ordered their Berry Compote Toast for $11. What I got was an untoasted piece of toast with very little ricotta and pieces of fruit thrown on. To say I'm upset and disappointed is an understatement.

It’s hard to enjoy food when your server is passive aggressive

I had high hopes for Wood & Grain Bistro, but unfortunately, my visit was underwhelming.
I ordered the shakshouka, which was supposed to come with three eggs, but instead, I got only two—while the rest of the bowl was filled with bland tomato sauce. To make matters worse, it was supposed to be served with sourdough bread, but I was given white bread instead.
The service didn’t help the situation. When I pointed out that my meal was supposed to include the side of fruit, the server attempted to charge me extra. Her excuse? The menu was outdated. Frankly, that’s not my problem—if an item is listed a certain way, the restaurant should honor it. Thankfully, she took the fruit off and even discounted my meal. I typically don’t bother complaining about bad food, but the extra charge made me upset, as I was already paying for something I didn’t even enjoy.
Overall, the experience felt careless and disappointing. For the price and reputation, I expected much better. I won’t be returning anytime soon.

the food was okay BUT it took more than 5 minutes for us to be acknowledged and have drinks at our table, we ordered chilaquiles which said it came with a side and we were charged for a side instead of it coming with the meal. When we got up to tell them they charged us for a side when the menu says it comes with the meal the girl at the front just said "yea" and didnt fix our tab. It was EXTREMELY loud i could barely have a conversation and our server only checked on us once. Ive eaten here before and IF i come back itll be takeout only or request to sit in the tall ladies section shes the only server that seems to know what shes doing.

Disappointing. Not sure when this place changed owners/formats, but I wish I would have looked at the reviews before ordering. This used to be one of my favorite brunch places when I’ in the area because of the high quality of the food and drinks. The menu offerings are the same (toast trio) however the ingredient quality has gone way downhill. Instead of locally sourced produce, coffee, bread and other items it’s just your basic Sysco processed foods.
If you have never visited under previous ownership it’s fine, but if you were a fan of the walk up service, local coffee and home made bread you will be disappointed.

If I could figure out when the cook who doesn’t hate food works, I’d go back, probably.
Hard to say how good it is. One time, everything is great, the next it’s miserable. The shakshouka was really decent once, and the next week the eggs were hard boiled and the sourdough was served stale and untoasted. Everything is like that, either really alright or just terrible, depending on some unseen calculus. Too much random chance to be worth it again. The low is always lower than the high, as it were.

Good food! We were there for brunch as a party of 6 and I ordered the “bottomless” coffee for $3 but after asking for refill #3, the waitress who asked if we needed more only gave me a quarter of a cup refill. Kinda odd. Did I break a record and find the bottom? So next time I will order an espresso drink. Otherwise, great service and eats, no crowds for weekday lunch.

The service was great. The food was blah The hashbrowns where some of the worst I've ever had. The coffee was worth getting . I will probably never go back, but others seem to have liked it. So worth a shot going to. The price was fair. The place was really dark and our table was sticky.

The place needs a deep clean. It’s dingy and smelled weird when you walk in. That should have been my first clue to walk out.
I ordered an avocado toast and they literally covered it in oil over the top.
Hashbrowns I thought I would be crispy instead they were soft and swimming in oil.
The cinnamon coffee tasted like they threw half a bag of cinnamon in there.
I wouldn’t recommend this place. Old west down the road is far superior.

When we first walked in, the restaurant had an unpleasant smell almost like wet dog—which wasn’t a great first impression. Our table was sticky, making us question the overall cleanliness. Then, just as my food was coming out, they told us that the fryer was down, meaning my wife’s meal couldn’t be prepared as ordered. They waited until the last minute to inform us, which led to our meals coming out at completely different times. No offer of a discount or anything to make up for the inconvenience was given, which was really disappointing. Overall, it wasn’t the experience we expected, and we left feeling pretty let down.

1st time experience. Was steady not BUSY. Ssrver forgot to send our order (they admitted it) my wifes eggs were runny instead of medium, my white gravy on biscuits was bland, homemade thyme biscuits are good. I definitely want to try again before passing real judgment, but 1st impression was "its just ok"

Clean place , friendly staff, fast service and phenomenal brunch food and atmosphere. Why ask any other questions. So glad I stopped here. Don't believe it than see for yourself this place could easily turn into a "were sorry for the wait to get inside " type of place.
Update - second time here didn't disappoint the Denver omelet is fire. So tasty. And the service again quick. If I could leave more stars I absolutely would.
