If you’re anywhere near Bedias, do yourself a favor and stop at Pookies! My daughter and I had the bacon cheeseburger, and it was absolute perfection: juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak sandwich, and I swear he finished it before I even got through my second bite. That says it all!
The fries were just as impressive: crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. And the sweet tea? Let’s just say it hit the mark perfectly—smooth, refreshing, and not too sharp.

Pookies is a local diamond in the rough. Located in the heart of Bedias it caters to the pickiest of eaters. There you'll find a chicken sandwich that is mouthwatering with spices that will wake up your palate. The tea is sweet as teas should be and fries that are fresh and seasoned. I left fully satisfied with barely room for their flaky and tart gooey lemon cake!!! So delicious. My family will definitely be returning soon.

I've never heard of this town or restaurant, but a local told me to try it while working here. The food was great and the staff were very friendly. This felt like a home cooked meal at a great price. This restaurant deserves to be in the spotlight.
Everybody cleaned their plates off including the kids. Food was amazing. Very friendly staff as well. Will definitely be coming back
