“The Pit Stop Cafe catered for our large family after we laid our beloved Mother to rest. The food was delicious! We had brisket, chicken sausage, beans ,mashed potatoes +++ The ladies setting up did an excellent job .I would 100% recommend their food and the catering service.”
“Family owned and operated. I love this little restaurant. The food is amazing and fresh. The owners are such kind people. It's great for dine in or take out. Best spot in Bedias!Kid-friendliness: They have meals fit for children. Not spicy.”
“I was driving past and stopped in for a burger. Great homemade patties. One of the best burgers I have had in a long time. The folks are really nice. I will be back.”
“I haven't been to Bare Bones I. Quite some time. On this particular Tuesday I attended a sip and paint event hosted by Maryland Craft parties. For a Tuesday it was pretty crowded inside. There is a large shared parking lot in the shopping center where it's located. The event was in a private room located in the rear of the dinning area. The hostess was kind enough to show us back. Wait staff was friendly and took our drink orders shortly after we were seated. It was half price on wine so that's what we chose for the table. I ordered a shrimp quesadilla that arrived about 10 minutes after ordering. Sorry I had paint all on my hands and couldn't get a photo before digging in. It was very tasty and well seasoned. Had a great experience and for all the food and drinks it came out to about 22 dollars per person. I was more there for the sip and paint so I will have to come back for a proper dining experience. I even saw a fellow yelper there for the sip and paint.”
“We love this place! We usually order pizza (they know our order as soon as we walk in the door), the toppings are fresh and plentiful. We’ve had sandwiches and salads also. Their brisket is incredible. Will be returning, our go to place in Iola.”
“Our kids (Bulldogs) kept peer pressuring us to try this place. I'm satisfied with Shipleys which is equidistant in the opposite direction so it took me a while to cave. I'm glad I did, and this is why...We drove out to Normangee to pickup our son after a sleep over. By chance, we drove by Iola Donuts on the way home, they were open and I was out of excuses to not try them.We walked in, bought donuts for the family and on our way out, the man behind the counter stopped us. He offered us a free apple fritter as we were leaving.I'm in the middle of reading Unreasonable Hospitality, so maybe it's just good timing. But maybe this place has something special. We've been to Iola Donuts two more times in the two weeks since that free fritter interaction. It's confirmed, there's something special about this place. Now stop reading this, go grab an apple fritter (and sausage kolache), see for yourself and I'll await your review here.”
“Recently, I revisited the Iola location when attending my granddaughters basketball game. I've always wanted to try the Memphis Burger, but I'm usually in a hurry. This time, I had some extra time to wait for them to cook it. You know that usually, a picture of an item in a menu is sometimes deceiving. Wow! Not in this case. This burger is huge! I had to take half of it home with me and finish it that evening. You have got to try this burger ? ?! Delicious!”
“I wish I lived nearby. Best hospitality, burger was terrific, even the customers were friendly.Parking: Huge circular and beautifully kept gravel (but not that tiny gravel that gets stuck in your tires) parking lot.”
