“I accidentally walked in five minutes early and was invited to sit inside instead of being kicked back into the cold. I won a free coffee token at work and wanted to use it. Super cute coffee shop and their coffee has an amazing full flavor. Great body and not a watery taste. Got a bagel and cream cheese as well for $5 which is also comparable to Starbucks. Great local business that supports various programs in our town and donates to schools as well. Friendly experience without being overwhelming. They also support other coal businesses by selling local honey and things in their shop as well. Delicious coffee and great ownership.”

“My wife and I stopped by this morning about 10 minutes after they opened. We were literally greeted with a smile by who I think was the manager as he opened the door. Our food came out quickly after ordering, and when we picked it up, a friendly staff member was recommending sauces to go with our onion rings and told us to have a great day.

The owner and his assistant are Super knowledgeable about their products. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate this business. Every friend I send has remained a repeat customer. The owner is super personable with a dry funny sense of humor and he makes the BEST Homemade soups daily with Fresh salads and sandwiches. They have a daily special with 1/2 servings with sides and tea that fits many seniors budget. Local people hangout here for lunch, so if you don’t know anyone, you will after visiting.”

They are very professional & efficient, & had my order ready in a very timely manner while simultaneously conversating with guests and seemed genuinely interested in their patrons. I'm pretty sure it was the ladies that were working on either Wed 11/29 or Thurs 11/30 evening. These 2 ladies deserve a raise! I was a barista for about a month when I was their age and it's harder than it looks but these young ladies made it seem effortless and fun. These 2 ladies are going to go far in life - I wish I had gotten their names. But I just wanted to give a shout out to how great they were and what a breath of fresh air it was to see people in that age group enjoying their job, going about their tasks energetically and carrying on friendly interaction with guests. I’m from Arkansas and we don’t have this at home. LET ME TELL YOU… the place was jammed packed around 7:00 Pm when I went on Saturday and I was in and out with my order. The employees were very sweet, two teenager girls and an older male working the ice machine. They were all working together through the rush and that’s what really stood out to me. I was very impressed by their leadership and time management. My order was correct and delicious from head to toe!”

“We visited Sunday morning. Drive through line moved Very quickly. But our coffees were less than desirable. Drank about a third of it. No flavor and tasted a bit burned. Everything else was great as always. Speed is not always a good thing.”

“I go to this restaurant at least 2x week. They have a special twice a week, Tuesday it's one leg and one thigh for 1.89, yes you read that correctly no it's not a typo. Wednesday is 2 thighs and fries for 4.99.
The oil is changed regularly and this you can tell in the flavor of the food too. The chicken is seasoned to perfection. The restaurant is always clean the staff is friendly.
They have handicap parking with covered parking as well for all. There's is also a drive through.
I haven't been disappointed at this restaurant yet.”

“I'm from Memphis (a good bbq city) and my wife is from Louisiana. (known for great food as well). We thoroughly enjoyed EVERYTHING at True Texas BBQ. The customer service with Caleb and Frank were impeccable. It was our first visit at this HEB location and they were very helpful and offered great suggestions. Just as they mentioned, the food (including the sides) was great and perfectly seasoned as well.
Thank you for the phenomenal service and experience. Oh! We even ordered again to take food home for dinner. Lord spare, we will visit again!
