Very great experience here. The staff was all super nice and friendly and helpful. It's kinda seat yourself and the staff gives you enough space and time to order. I will admit I had a huge migraine as I started eating and forgot my rose soda but it was really good. The food was amazing.

These fries slapped, y’all. And they had homemade hot sauce too. Delicious. Don’t be deterred by its proximity to the mall LOL

We really wanted to like this place. My wife is Greek and Artemis is close to our home. Yay! Let's have a Greek restaurant nearby!
Nope.
We started with the dolmatas. Disappointed would be an understatement. The grape leaves were crunchy (should be soft) and it tasted like they were filled with tapioca pudding. Very very sweet. Not supposed to be even a little sweet. To describe it in one word: terrible.
We ordered the souvlaki and it was average. Decent. 5/10.
The service was pretty good once they realized we were there.
The at atmosphere is nothing to write home about. Bright and industrial feeling. Definitely not Greek or Mediterranean feeling.
I doubt we will go back and if we ever tried again, we will definitely avoid the tapioca stuffed grape leaves.

I don't understand why you gave such a high rating, friends. If you say everything you eat is good, then the concepts of good and bad get mixed up. Yesterday I had a gyro and a souvlaki plate. I'd give the gyro a 5 because it was average, but the souvlaki they served was
Please remove pizza from your menu. It was the worst tasting pizza for which I spent around 10 dollars.

In A Nutshell:
-This is a nice neighborhood restaurant for decent Mediterranean food.
-I enjoyed their Herb Oven Roasted Chicken which came w/ small potatoes & baby carrots.
-The Mezze sampler is highly recommended.
-The falafel, dolmas, hummus, babba ghanoush, tzaziki and tabbouleh, served with pita bread, olives, and pepperoncinis were superb.
Overall, this place seemed to be popular w/ the locals.

Me & my family had lunch here today. We had to wait for a little while before someone waited on us & waited a long time for 2 meals. The gyro hardly had any lettuce, tomatoes & no feta. The salad was good but had too much dressing. The fries were not even warm. I have eaten here before & never experienced okay service & had expected better food. This lunch was very expensive. I will not return to this restaurant again

Artemis Mediterranean Grill is one of our favorites, and we make a point to stop here whenever we’re traveling to Austin. The food is consistently delicious, the service is friendly and attentive, and meals come out quickly—perfect for a relaxing break before hitting heavier traffic. Always a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!
