Best in Austin
Prove me wrong
Recommended dishes: Croque Madame Egg on Top, Pain Au Chocolat, Salad
Sorry, but the chocolate croissant wasn't fresh and flakey. The beignet was stale, though the filling was good. the prices were overall good. the bread was good and the raspberry tart was good.

This team consistently provides the very best french pastry experience in Austin. It's a tiny space but they work wonders here. People are kind, professional and true artists.

A small shop, not much seating area. The chocolate almonds croissant is buttery and rich in taste. The coffee is great. Staffs are friendly and make you feel welcomed. Definitely will visit again.

Honestly kind of shocked the reviews aren't 4.9, this is my favorite bakery in Austin. French style pastries, super high quality, flavorful, divine, and the perfect amount of sweetness. I've had the lemon merengue tarte which was DIVINE- best merengue I've ever had. I've had the raspberry tarte twice which is so fresh, the cream/ custard (?) tastes like real vanilla bean just delicious, raspberries somehow always perfect, and the crust/base just as good as everything else. And lastly, the eclairs-- I love the classic chocolate eclair with the custard filling. I tried the chocolate filling one as well recently, and was surprised how delicious. The ratios are perfect, pastries are fresh, and made with love and respect for the craft! Sweet staff who seem happy to be there, though I wish you could tip (apparently they pay higher wages though, so, good for them.) Great drinks, too- I've had the lavender latte and chai tea! Atmosphere is cozy and unpretentious which is a bonus for me. Hidden gem in Bee Cave, I will be back! Highly recommend especially if you're a pastry lover

I’ve supported this bakery for many years, but my recent visit was upsetting. I drove quite far and arrived well before closing, yet I was told the pastries still on display couldn’t be sold because they were being held for the next day.
It didn’t feel right to be turned away while the shelves were full, and the situation left me disappointed.

Baguette et Chocolat in Bee Cave is one of our favorite weekend breakfast spots! Me and my family love coming here — the atmosphere is cozy, welcoming, and perfect for a relaxing morning.
We usually order breakfast croissants with eggs and bacon, and they’re always amazing — buttery, flaky, and full of flavor. Their Mocha is one of the best I’ve had, rich and smooth, and the beignets are absolutely delicious — light, sweet, and fresh every time. The sourdough bread is also worth mentioning; it’s perfectly baked and goes great with any meal.
The staff is very polite and attentive, and the service is consistently excellent. Whether we dine in or take our coffee to go, the experience is always pleasant.
If you’re in Bee Cave and looking for a lovely spot to enjoy breakfast or a weekend treat, Baguette et Chocolat is definitely a must-visit.

Great food and service. The store is cramped outside seating is nice but mostly looking at parking lot. But that's not why you go there. Baked goods, sandwiches, are outstanding.

Found another French bakery near my home where tried to come on a Monday but was closed but returned on a Wednesday and was able to experience it. This is a locally owned business with excellent service where I ordered a coffee and was one of the best I had.
As I waited for my loved one in physical therapy nearby I enjoyed the coffee outside. They do have an assortment of food menu items and water a stream of people coming and going carry paper bags. I be returning shortly and will try a breakfast item.

This is a great place for a light lunch or brunch. We tried the croque madame and Lorraine quiche and they were both excellent. The espresso coffees were definitely not worth it, especially if you make your own espressos at home, but that's par for the course with espressos, so no different from anywhere else. We'll be back to try some of the cold sandwiches, desserts and take some baguettes home.

This little French restaurant has an excellent croque monsieur and baked goods. I look forward to trying more of what they have to offer.
It is located in a freestanding building toward the rear of a large shopping, office, and dining area. They share a large free parking lot with the neighboring businesses.

Best baked goods I’ve ever had in my life. Strawberry tart was amazing, as was the almond chocolate croissant. The cinnamon roll was the star of the show though! I cannot recommend it enough. Great coffee as well, we tried the cinnamon roll latte and lavender latte.

My favorite bakery ever! Taste like home!
I love the paninis, the sourdough seeds, the walnut and cranberry sourdough, the deserts and the coffee! The staff is very friendly and love the atmosphere. It feels like home. I am originally from Brazil and the bread really reminds me of Home! Love the crunch baguete!
