This restaurant is very nice with perfect lighting and a nice ambiance. The tables are spaced perfectly apart, and the service is always very good. We ordered during Saturday brunch. The crab roll appetizer was amazing, and let me just start off by saying when you can see nice big chunks of lobster on top you know it's going to be good. The bread it came on was toasted and buttered to perfection, the perfect ratio of mayo to lobster to lettuce was used. I ordered the crab Benedict Arnold which was tasty, my only complaint is that the hash browns were slightly burned and just an edge over crispy.

This was my first time eating here, and it was fantastic! Party of four, and we had fried coconut shrimp, the ribs, grilled shrimp spinach salad, Captain Pete's jerk chicken with rice and spinach and rolls. We all were very satisfied with our meals and have zero complaints. We definitely will be going here again and again in the future. The service was great, and the only reason I didn't give a five-star rating for the atmosphere is because the backs of the booths are not very comfortable when you are there for a long time (straight up).

I always come here on Sundays. Sean at the bar is the best bartender/server ever, period. Always hard working with a great personality. Cafe Blue is blessed to have him. I always enjoy coming here. Amazing food and drinks at the bar.

Brought our out of town (from California) family here, a smidgen over 20 of us. We were well cared for and everyone enjoyed their meal and commented on how fresh the various fish dishes were prepared and tasted...like they were at home.

We had our Annual Regional Meeting here two years in a row. The first time the guest coun was 50. This year it was 90. The staff at Cafe Blue did an amazing job and handled everything exceptionally well.

Pro tip: ask for John to be your server. This man could easily work at any of the top spots downtown Austin, but you are fortunate enough he works here out in the Hill Country.Excellent seafood in a surprising location. I loved their main lobster omelet and the crab appetizer. While the price and quality are high end the vibe is laid back. Most patrons were in nice jeans with a button down / polo or sundress. The patio is ok. The wine cellar area is the most aesthetically pleasing to sit in.Come for seafood. Stay for the excellent hospitality.Vegetarian options: Not strong for vegetarians. Just a few protein-less vegetable options. Great for pescatarians.Dietary restrictions: Great for paleo, Gluten Free, and ketoParking: I always struggle to find a spot at the Galaria, where this is located.Kid-friendliness: It is a high end seafood spot. Well behaved kids will be fine here like any other over dinner spot.Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible

Worst service I've had in a very long time. 30 minutes to get our 1st drinks, 40 to get our second drinks, and it wasn't busy.. Over an hour to get our food and I ordered the Cuban sandwich and it was absolutely horrible, I took one bite and they didn't take it off the bill. This was our second time eating here, the 1st time was absolutely great, this time absolutely made sure we'll never go back.

I attended a work dinner here. A pre-arranged limited menu had been arranged. Unfortunately I have an allergy to dairy. The appetizers were listed as Ceviche and Calamari. The Ceviche was substituted with Brussel sprouts coated in cheese. All 3 sides served with the meal had butter/cream/cheese or some combination of those. All three mains had butter or cream. I called over the waitress and explained the issue. I asked what i could eat. She suggested the salmon without the butter. After eating the calamari and a salad that i now suspect had cheese in it. I was served a almost unseasoned, overcooked 4 oz piece of salmon. I would have sent it back to the kitchen as that is unacceptable. But all 3 members of our wait staff had disappeared. So out of desperation and hunger I ate the salmon. The dessert course was apparently out of the question as well. If i had been brought a simple side of fries or literally anything I could have eaten I think I would have felt well taken care of. As it was I went home and ate leftovers as I was still hungry. That night I had all the symptoms of having been poisoned by dairy. This is shameful.
