Rude and borderline racist owner. Walked in for lunch. Brusque waitstaff, delivered our lunch and completely ignored us after that. The food was quite good. We eventually had to go to the bar to pay. Told the owner we would come back for dinner, and the owner says ‘we are very busy at dinner, always full’

Given how rude these people are, they’ve lost a customer

Finally found an authentic Italian place that delivers on everything. This family-owned restaurant is spotlessly clean. You can see right into the kitchen and their sanitary standards are impressive.
The menu has incredible variety. I've tried their seafood, chicken marsala, and several pasta dishes. All perfectly cooked with fresh ingredients. Whether you want seafood, meat, chicken, or pasta, they do it all exceptionally well.
The family runs the operation with multiple generations working together, and the service reflects it. Attentive, friendly, and genuinely care about your experience.
Great food quality, immaculate cleanliness, excellent service, and fair prices. This place checks every box. Highly recommend

Just a fabulous place to eat that is family owned and operated! You come in and immediately feel that homey experience. Food is lovely (hack: try the bee cave special for a light meal vs pasta) but it’s the only place for baked pasta anywhere nearby! Wine is great and service is next level! Love this place!

As a long time transplant from Chicago , I don’t find too many true Italian restaurants in the Austin area. Giovanni’s is better than most. Food was really good. We had a Caesar salad, spaghetti with bolognese and eggplant parm - all solid. Service is sort of communal which is generally good but you can get forgotten. Most of the servers are nice , one was a bit surly.

The family was in the mood for something Italian and the places close to us were tried earlier so someplace new was being searched. Found out about Giovanni's online and while it was a good 25 mins drive away from us - off we went and it turned out to be a great choice. This was lunch on a Saturday and the place was quite empty. Just 2 tables occupied as we walked in. Seating was left to us so we chose one of the 3 booths. The menu is quite extensive so it took a while to figure out our choices. Went with Lobster Ravioli, Gnocchi Alla Vodka, Veggie Pizza and at the server's recommendation - Chicken Arriabiata. Freshly baked garlic bread was served only after the order was placed. All the dishes came within 10-15 mins of ordering. The taste was quite good, portion sizes decent and presentation acceptable. We loved it. Finished off the meal with a serving of Tiramisu and Creme Brulee. Both were fantastic. Overall a very nice meal and definitely a place to go once.
We loved that it was not crowded, had soft music playing in the background making table conversation possible and pleasant. Server was attentive and came by quite a few times to check on us. Water refills were missed though. If we are in the vicinity or have guests will probably go again.

This place is great! Great customer service, food and ambiance! Big portions at a good price! All of the waiter/waitresses and owners checked on us throughout the dinner. Very attentive but not too attentive. We will be back

We were excited to finally visit Giovanni’s Table, an Italian restaurant we’d passed by several times near our home. It always caught our eye, and we’re glad we finally stopped in.

This spot strikes a great balance between cozy and refined. It’s a place where you can comfortably bring the whole family for dinner or slip in as a couple and enjoy a quiet evening at the bar. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a homey feel that instantly puts you at ease.

The menu leans into traditional Italian flavors, and the bar adds a nice touch for those who want to drop in for a drink and a bite. We’re happy to have found a quality neighborhood Italian spot and will definitely be coming back.

Looking at the pictures does not do this place justice. A family owned and operated restaurant. Very cozy atmosphere with lots of locals who come here often. We happened to be in the area, but I'd come here again for sure. Wish it was closer to my neighborhood 😊 The alla vodka sauce is the best!!!!!!!
