DO NOT GET SCAMMED by this place!!! They will cancel your order say they’re goin to refund you and never do. And guess what? The phone number goes to some voicemail that’s in another language. I am shocked that GAC would allow one of their locations to operate this way. Not only do they owe me now for 2 canceled orders due to “unexpected circumstances” but they also frequently would cancel things from my uber order but again didn’t refund it and Uber is a nightmare and won’t refund anything. It’s awful I cannot fathom how this location is even open still. Literally they are stealing peoples money

We stopped by yesterday for cookies and ice cream. Met the new owner Marco, he was so nice! He's working on getting a solid crew and better hours. Super excited and happy to see a nice human with his customers being put first. Go check them out.

The shop closed due to the weather and Kurt still went in, made the cake I ordered for my son's bday and offered to hand deliver it to us downtown. Amazing customer service!! He's the best!!

I was sad when the mall location closed as it was my go-to, and I’ll admit I was hesitant to order here bc of the reviews. But a friend mentioned she’d ordered several cakes with no problems so I decided to give them a try. It was great and so easy! I placed my order Thursday night, called Friday to confirm they got it and I could maybe pickup a bit earlier, and she was almost done when I got there Saturday afternoon. The website didn’t have a monster truck, so I asked for the jeep design with bigger tires, and she easily accommodated. I’m happy to have another Great American Cookie place option!

We've ordered two cookie cakes from here, and both were delicious. The staff was very nice.

Ordered a large customer birthday cake for my daughters 8th birthday here. I was hesitant after reading the terrible reviews, but the location at Barton creek mall closed down and my daughter really wanted a cookie cake, so I had limited options.

I ordered the cake 3 weeks in advance. To be extra safe bc of the bad reviews, I called at least 3 times (even the day before) to check in just to make sure they still had my order and that it would be ready on Saturday.

I showed up on Saturday and no one was there. I waited 45 minutes and no one ever came to open the store.

As I was driving home, I got a call from the owner and he apologized saying no one showed up for work that day and no one ever made the cake.

I couldn’t believe it.

I had to scramble going from HEB to HEB to find a cake hours before 15 kids were coming to my house for a birthday party when I should have been at home setting up the house. Made the whole day a giant ball of stress.

This place is awful. Do not go here.

Absolutely the best cookies!! We love the shop, the cookies, the ice creams and the owner is sooo nice!! Our little one always enjoy the outings to the cookie store. She is of course only allowed a little bite or two. Everytime when we visit Bee Cave we always make sure to stop here.

Doesn’t know the difference between chocolate syrup and hot fudge.

This place has horrible hours and the staff seems incompetent regarding what their products are supposed to be. Have been visiting GAC since childhood and they were super rude when I asked to order a dinky doozie saying they didn’t know what I was talking about.

this place is HORRIBLE. I ordered a cookie cake to be delivered for my granddaughters birthday. it arrived with the icing squashed and ruined. when I called they they said I would have to pay for another because it was a delivery issue and I would have to take it up with Uber. I said I didn't pick Uber they did. They said sorry but not our problem. and asked if I wanted to purchase another $50 cake. So they ruined my little granddaughters birthday and screwed me out of $50 some dollars. Do yourself a favor - order from someone else.

The cookies are great and there's usually a decent inventory unless you're within an hour of closing.If you pay by card, the system forces you to leave a tip. If you type in a custom $0 tip, the screen does not allow you to proceed, you must enter a tip (even $0.01). Never seen any other business do this before...

I loved working here a few years ago. I made some pretty neat cakes. Tons of fun.
