Top-notch bartenders and great food! The 2 girls bartending were friendly and had a great work ethic and were very knowledgeable about their drinks and made them right. I got nachos and the pulled pork grilled cheese. Hands down the best grilled cheese I ever had! I'll definitely be back here when I come to Austin again. Good views off the balcony and plenty of room for seating.

Jamie the bartender is an awesome bar tender. She practically ran the entire floor on her own. She exudes service with a smile. She also serves up great drinks!

Beautiful scenery. Somewhat slow service. Dreadful food (dry, lacking any sort of real taste).Might come back again if I want a quick drink with nice views, but be sure to show up on a full stomach.

Only had drinks. The Texas Old Fashion was very good but needed a large ice cube instead of the crushed ice. My wife was not as thrilled with the Margarita so she went with a gin and tonic on the second round. Hard to mess that up. Bartenders were courteous and cheerful. Very nice atmosphere and great view from the patio. Would definitely visit this place again.

First things first, The View from the outdoor deck is phenomenal. This alone is worth a visit. In addition, the staff have personally provided great service- welcoming and friendly. I must say the wine selection is quite constrained. Otherwise, the drinks and liquor selection are good. I would also recommend the pork belly slider if you are in need of a snack or light dinner.

First off we love the 6th floor and the views it provides...but better then the view is the service provided by Jessie. She is always helpful, smiling and checks on us often. We use Meridian 98 as our go to spot for celebrations as the drinks have a local flair and are very good....we do wish they'd expand the menu but find the taco's to be well sized, charcuterie board put together well and the bacon wrapped shrimp our go to all the time. Do wish they would add back in the dollop of honeycomb though to the platter. Word of advice though---the hotel is a destination for wedding parties and other celebrations so Yes the bar can get pretty active. Jessie rules!

I was there on Saturday night on 9/9/23 and enjoyed great food and service, the cocktails were amazing and the bartender (young lady, forgot her name) that worked there was absolutely great, she makes great cocktails and she is very friendly.

There's only one waitress bless her heart. She was great and trying really hard. The flatbread were really good but when we ordered a ginger ale, we got a ginger beer. Not quite the same thing for the 78-year-old friend I was with.

This place has great views and wonderful ambiance. They have some tasty signature cocktails and some good snacks. I had the pulled pork grilled cheese, and while the sandwich was ok - the name was misleading. This is a toasted pulled pork sandwich with one piece of cheese. I was disappointed because the name gave me a completely different expectation. Our waitress was knowledgeable and attentive. Overall, a nice place to watch the sunset.

Very cool view for sure. Decent selection of drinks and feed seems pretty good too.

Really good.Stayed at the Sonesta in Bee Cave, TX. This restaurant is on the 6th floor. Nice decor and ambiance. I was on a biz trip and eating alone so I grabbed a seat at the bar, and was promptly greeted.Server was very friendly. Menu looked good. I had some tacos that were pretty good. Prices not bad.Recommended while in Bee Cave.

Great chocolate martinis after a day around town. Great rooftop bar vibe. Awesome sunset if you get here at the right time. If you are in the area, even not staying here, worth coming and visiting. If you are staying at the hotel, definitely a must visit.

As a member of a company party held there this weekend, it was just mediocre in experience. Understaffed. The two bartenders could barely keep up. We actually watched them talking to each other and fully ingnore us. Food orders were poor. This could be from the kitchen. The other side of the floor was a wedding party. Seemed both sides suffered from severe understaffed & un trained to handle the reserved parties. There were not really a lot of people in both parties. Next night we hoped they would be more organized & ready. Ummm. No. The kitchen bus boys were on their game. The catering manager was a bit rude, but she did keep the food on the buffet filled as needed. That night, the food was great. The seating was not arranged for the number of people. We actually had to eat off our laps. It was horrible. For the layout out of the floor for the use of bar and restaurant, they seriously need to rethink the space. If we are in the area again, we will try it again when it is not a part of a large crowd. It might be a different experience.

The wife and I wanted to go somewhere decent and somewhat relaxing and quiet to sit and have a few appetizers and a few drinks but were overtaken in the bar area by a company party that had the complete other side reserved for their party. The party completely took over the bar once their drinks stopped flowing on their side that they had reserved. No regards for others around them, those guests put their empty glasses on our table area where our food and drinks were. Disrespectful and rude to say the least. Pissed off and irritated we paid the tab and left. Complete b******** If you reserve a complete side of a venue stay on your side without disturbing others' evening! If you show up at Meridian and there is a reserved party on one side turn around and leave! It's not worth the disturbance of your evening!

Searching for a hotel in Austin back in August on various websites to attend a wedding in October, 2022. Come to find out, the wedding was scheduled the weekend of the Formula 1 race. Every hotel that I had stayed in the past was completely booked. I went onto Hotels.com and found Meridian 98/Sonesta was available for $561 per night (4 nights) up front, non-refundable. So, I tried the Meridian 98/Sonesta website and the rooms were $621 per night. So, I booked through Hotels.com. The room was quiet. Nothing fancy. No bellman. Housekeeping was upon request. After the 2nd night, 3rd day, I called housekeeping to request fresh towels. The voicemail box was full and I was to "try again." Small snack shop. Restaurant/bar on 6th floor open after 4:00, but never went. Security was good, as far as having to use your room key to operate the elevator on whatever floor you are staying. Good location in proximity to shopping. I would never pay this much again for a hotel of this caliber. I have been fortunate enough to stay at the Four Seasons in downtown Austin, Lakeway resort and Renaissance at the Arboretum several years ago and didn't pay this much for a room. In talking to several people at the wedding, it appears all the hotels in Austin were price-gouging all of us because of the Formula 1 race.
