Had dinner here with my daughter. Food and service was great and the atmosphere was good too. Reasonable prices and will definitely be back.

Do not order for delivery - at least through GrubHub. Tadashi adds extra charges on top of what your GrubHub total is. Tadashi charges a convenience fee and delivery fee while GrubHub waives those charges if you are a member. I called Tadashi asking for my card to be refunded for these charges and the claimed it's GrubHub's fault (which is not true). Tadashi is adding on these charges. Check your receipt if ordering from them - it's such a scam.

Great cozy atmosphere inside the restaurant. Welcoming staff and quickly found us a table.Food is tasty and servers are helpful in case of any questions.Didn’t have to wait a lot between courses.Definitely worth a try.Closest to authentic Japanese cuisine as you’ll get in south Austin.

The Japanese food selection is wonderful and the food is superb. The vibe and atmosphere at night makes it wonderful eating with friends, families, and dates. They also have a wide range of mixes and sushi, making your night just right when you sit down. Come to Tadashi for a good meal with reasonable prices!

Mid service. The server tried charging $19.50+$3.50 for a “Suntory and Coke” when a Captain Morgan and Coke was ordered. Felt rushed. Wanted to enjoy the afternoon with some apps and a meal but he dropped the check right after serving the apps. Not the level of service expected.Changing my review to 1 star. You have a great night.

Tuna rolls had ground tuna ?. Eel roll had bones bones left in it and on the plate. Seaweed salad was mid and overpriced. Meso soup was good.

We ate at Tadashi for our anniversary and absolutely loved it! The atmosphere was great, very cute and calm, played great music, smelled and looked clean. Our server was David and he was awesome! Very attentive but not annoying at all. The food was phenomenal. The miso soup was some of the best I have had. So flavorful! The crispy tuna rice appetizer was so yummy with the two opposites of the tuna and the crunchy, sticky rice and then the zing of the red onion was just great. We had the filet mignon skewer and it was good but not good enough to need it again. We had the Kiss the Fire roll and it was so fresh and awesome. I was surprised to have such sound sushi in bee caves honestly but we will be back! My fiancé had the Tonkatsu Pork Bento box and ate it all! The BBQ sauce with the pork is key as the batter is a bit on the less flavorful side but the dish was great variety and awesome. I loved the gyoza that came with that. Def would get a set of that next time. I had the Galbi (short ribs) and they were AWESOME. So flavorful, fresh, grilled to perfection and well prepared. We loved our experience at Tadashi and will 100% be back. It is a pricier menu than most. Sushi usually is but all around this menu is higher but the quality was there, service was great, variety was great and it was worth it to me. We sat at the sushi bar too and were just as comfortable as we would’ve been at a table. Thanks for an awesome anniversary meal, Tadashi!

Always good service & excellent food. It's our go to in the Galleria area. Had spicy edamame, shrimp tempura, and unagi for appetizers. At the waiter's recommendation, we had four very good rolls. We'll be back...

Mediocre food, terrible service, kinda meh atmosphere, especially for the price.Service fails:it took 10 minutes and me flagging down a server to get my order taken (on a relatively calm Thursday evening, they werent even full)My server mistakenly gave me chicken teriyaki instead of chicken katsu. No biggie, but it took another 5 mins to flag down another server to fix that. That dude was super weird about the whole thing and asked me to scoop out my teriyaki onto a separate plate while he got me what I actually ordered. Which was rather annoying to do with chopsticks. Weirdest experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant over 20$. Pretty sure you arent allowed to give that to someone else.Ordered edamame, never got it, still was on the check.Overall: skip, especially for the price (80$ for two people) and location. you can easily drive an extra 4 minutes to Bon Sushi off 620 which is the same price but SIGNIFICANTLY higher quality
