Cajun Crabs & Shrimp Waco

My mother and I went for lunch and ordered shrimp and catfish combo each to eat in. We ordered also a catfish meal and a burger to go. One meal was brought while waiting for the other one meal to eat it took an hour to get it.

Save your money go somewhere else this place is absolute garbage, absolutely not fresh catfish none of this food is fresh, catfish oil soaked and oil logged, french fries full soaked and soggy, same with the hush puppies.

The same goes for the shrimp, if you're out and about just go ahead and go to Cajun or somewhere else.

Also got stuffed jalapenos that were just oil soaked and almost raw same as the catfish if it's actually catfish.

You call yourself a Cajun restaurant sorry to tell you you're not occasion restaurant will cook a proper meal prepare it the proper way not soaking in juices. Service was slow took 10 minutes for me to get my first drink then my food came about 15 minutes later and no silverware The food was so hot you couldn't even get it out of the bucket more or less try to pick it up with your fingers.
You're not a Cajun restaurant You're a Mexican restaurant so why don't you open up a Mexican restaurant instead of Cajun cuz you dang sure can't cook Cajun food. And for your atmosphere it's not Cajun it's Mexican so when you go to a Cajun place you want to be Cajun style you want Cajun atmosphere not a Mexican atmosphere. For my recommendation I will not recommend you and I will not be back at your restaurant again.
PS change your name to something else not a Cajun Crabs and seafood because that's not your name cuz that's not what focus you yourself to be you ain't nothing but a lie to what I see in your reputation. You come off as something that you're not so why don't you change your name to something else you'd be better off.

Served in a bar not a plate

I’ve been here a couple of times, but was here on 6/14/2026 at 3:30 was greeted nicely and was told our waiter would be there waited for almost 30 minutes and no one showed up. They would pass by and the waiters were looking at us like why were we even there, so we just walked out. Ya’ll needa do something about that very rude and unprofessional. Came here to celebrate my bday .

Great food, awesome service. Not the restaurant's fault, but last two times I've been, there was a SCREAMING kid (mother was on phone while kid was having meltdown) and I just happened to be sat right next to them. One time, I was able to move to the bar. The second time, it was busier so moving wasn't an option.

The service was okay but the restaurant atmosphere was awful they were installing booths and tables it was loud. The food sucked and on top of everything they overcharged me on the food $3.00 and a charge of 3% for paying with credit card which I didn't I paid in cash . When I questioned why I was overcharged and get my money back I was ignored.
I will never go back and don't recommend eating there.

It was good, they forgot my egg, but I ate the boil so fast it almost didn’t even matter! They’re combo #1 is my favvv. Its the perfect serving for a personal self-care meal!

Great atmosphere as soon as we walked in.
The staff were eager to serve us and we waited no time before our drinks were at our table. Equally as fast were the appetizers.
Then came the entrees……
Blown away is the best way to describe it !
For how inexpensive their prices are this place serves up 5 Star food !

Staff member Vanessa helped me with my order and she was very professional. The bad part was the food… my crawfish was dark grey. That means it was decomposing and rotting before they cooked it.

throughly enjoyed our take out meal! The bacon wrapped shrimp are out of this world and the fish tacos were fantastic too! And it was all HOT when I got it home! Can’t wait to come back! I will leave an excellent review on Google and yelp as well! You are doing a great job!!!

Stopped in on the way to Killeen from Dallas to have lunch with my best friend. I have the lunch chicken pasta with added shrimp. Bestie had the shrimp quesadilla. Everything was tasty and the our server was awesome. Worth stopping in.
