I tried to like this place and gave it several attempts. Fish is rubbery and in large chunks as opposed to a true British Chippie which serve more of a fillet. I was disappointed. Workers were cordial. Food was over cooked.

Menu said 3 piece's of fish only got 2 per meal, fry's we're burnt, ask for only tarter sauce and got some other kind of sauces.Lost a customer for sure.

If you're tired of the usual Mexican and BBQ joints, come here for a change! We stumbled upon this location one evening and enjoyed a tasty dinner. Both the beer battered and blackened cod were tasty, and the hush puppies were probably the best I've ever had. Authentic malt vinegar and mushy peas are available! We will definitely return when we're back in the area.

The first thing I noticed when I entered the front door was how bright and clean it was inside. You can view the kitchen over the counter from the dining room. (A real plus.) The food fully met my expectations, and my wife and I have returned time and again. We have recommended Bellville Fish N Chips to our friends without hesitation. Be sure to ask for the malt vinegar!Bottom line:Good Food, Fast Service, Cleanliness

Very clean & awesome food cooked to perfection. The Beer Battered fish and shrimp are spot on. Festive but laid back vibe with very polite & attentive service. Even loved their playlist! ??Highly recommend!

I guess the full menu wasn’t up, only sandwiches and tacos. No one offered the rest of the menu and we stated it was our first time in. Its was good, glad it was 1/2 price.

Good food! Had the fried cod fish, fries, and hush puppies. Wife had grilled cod fish and shrimp, fries. Prices are reasonable, except they don't offer tap water to drink. Clean furniture and tables. Floors could be cleaner under tables. Ambiance is good, but during football season, games need to be on TVs. That is probably true for baseball/basketball as well. Recommend that owner/manager always keep a car parked in front of restaurant. That will help flow- at least it did in the restaurant I used to work at.

Pleasantly surprised with this new place in Bellville. Really liked the beer-battered cod fish (quite authentic), fries, cole slaw, and fabulous hush puppies! The owner needs to advertise more in Bellville area.

This is a really nice place if you like seafood. They are always improving the menu and the staff is very friendly. One thing I really like here is the fried okra. They also will cook your seafood fried, grilled, or blackened. Please support them!
