We came into town for the big knife show and wanted to try someplace new. This place was right by the convention center, and food smelled so good. We had to stop.This place is quite large. They have several big rooms and looks like a party room off to the right for bigger groups.The chips and salsa were good, similar to most Mexican restaurants. What makes this place better is the Jalapeño ranch. Who knew this was a thing, and it would taste so good with chips and salsa!! It was so good, I had to push it away so I wouldn't eat it all.I ordered the chicken tacos mexicanos, trying something new for me. I forgot to take pictures of our food. Fail! The tacos were good, but nothing that made them stand out from other places. I added the Jalapeño ranch to the tacos, and for me, it made it much better.I will suggest a mango margarita to go with your meal of choice. They are amazing.

Ordered to go this evening as we do regularly, last time I ordered to gothey forgot our charro beans so I decided to check when I got in vehicle, expected to just see them on top in the round containers as I have many times before so when they were not I assumed they just forgot again. When I went in to tell them, the Lady manager in red shirt acted as if I was lying and had an attitude. For that reason alone we wont return. Didnt offer extra for the time yall ACTUALLY DID forget last time.

Heard about El Jimador in Bellville and stopped in for a Saturday dinner. Nice sized parking lot, but lots of vehicles parked there. The inside is large, plenty of seats available. During our 45 minutes there the place got crowded. Had a ribeye meal that was served on a hot plate and was sizzling on a bed of onions; this meal had a side of guacamole, rice, beans, and sauce. Another meal was enchillada's with rice and beans. Kids meal of quesadilla and rice. Just right portions. Food tasted great. Would go back again.

Enjoyed a family lunch with Margaritas. The margaritas, cheese enchiladas, quesadillas and rice was really good, the beans were not my favorite as far as flavors. Portion sizes were good too. The bottom layer of some of my food was burnt to the very hot dinner plate, so that wasn't too exciting to be careful not to scrape the bottom and eat the crunchy burnt and missed out on those last few bites. Overall was a good lunch, we were sat immediately, service was fast and friendly, food came out quickly, the restaurant and facilities appeared clean and decorated nicely and large TV'S had the football game on.

It could just be that I was spoiled by a mother that cooked authentic home made Mexican meals, but this place left a lot to be desired in the food department. However, the staff was absolutely amazing here…very attentive and accommodating. The beverages here were outstanding. I ordered everything from aguas frescas to margaritas and they were phenomenal.

I can honestly say the waiter and everyone at the restaurant was very kind and attentive and they asked if everything was OK and they checked in on me etc. however I did not find the food particularly appealing. The people deserve 5 stars, the queso wa Luke warm, the chips stale, the rice and beans were bland and the meat was tough. I’ve loved here for years and decided to take a chance.
