I generally go here on lunch when my truck is getting repairs done, it's a Ford so that means quite a bit ?. I've never had any issues. The staff has been super great, the food is always amazing, and the atmosphere is always super friendly. I love going to The Gin when I can. If you can sit at the bar and enjoy that, it's an even bigger plus.
We camp in Belton area at least once a yr and The Gin is where we have liked to go. This time not so much. The waitress was great. The food was disappointing, it came out quickly but was warm at most. I got to garlic mashed, paid the extra for the works it was room temperature. They were not busy we want early. The place was clean at eye level when you look up cobwebs and ceiling fans covered in dust. So the owner or managers please address this. It is a awesome peice of history...
ASHIA saved the experience, ha a little abrupt response from.other employee, as brought our dog, until we explained we wanted to eat outside. Ashia walls super friendly, recommended an excellent meal that was delicious, I would recommend this restaurant. If you bring your pet go to the porch along the river.
