Coronas De Oro Mexican Restaurant is a nice little Mexican restaurant with a view of Nolan Creek and the Walking Trail. There is a fire pit out front and a bandstand just off the courtyard. The restaurant is nice but a tad dark inside to better show off the paintings and art work. Service is excellent, and the waitresses are awesome. The food is great. Chips n salsa are great, and the Queso is also great. The chips are crispy and delicious, and the salsa can be pretty spicy. A breakfast burrito was very filling, and huevos rancheros were great. Margaritas are served in big glass chalice mugs, and the palomas are pretty good. It is a good place for a date, but sitting outside to see the river is recommended. This is a favorite spot and highly recommended for margaritas and Mexican food.
