Kfire Winery & Vineyard is a hidden gem on the western side of US HWY 183 in Bertram, offering a small business atmosphere with world-class taste. The winery, owned by Gail and Kenny Fowler, features a firefighter-themed décor with firefighter paraphernalia, including a fire hydrant out front and interior walls decorated with fire patches, helmets, and firehoses. The winery sources grapes and juice from the Texas High Plains and other areas across the state, offering an A-to-Z selection of white, rosé, red, and sweet wines. Visitors can enjoy a range of wines, including the Viognier, Engine 12, Rescue Rosé, Engine 39, The Specialist, Ignite, Cadet, and Extinguisher, each with unique flavors and characteristics. The winery also hosts food and wine dinners and offers a quiet, country setting overlooking the vineyard, making it an ideal spot for relaxing and sipping.
