I really enjoyed the port barrel aged rye and my husband liked Rick's pick. But we didn't buy anything. The person working the front was very disinterested in educating or selling. She was on her phone the whole time. Other customers came in and you could tell she was really not interested in her job. Checking the reviews, we see we're not the first people to feel this way. It's sad to see such a great product so poorly represented. You guys really need to get some people who can greet and sell to the public.

Great selection of bourbon and rye, and my wife and I loved the location and very helpful employees.

Milam & Greene Distillery in Blanco, Texas is the real deal. As someone who travels the country tasting whiskey and talking with the folks who make it, I can tell you—this place is something special.

Master Distiller Marlene Holmes brings decades of knowledge and a whole lot of heart to every bottle. Her attention to detail and her love for the craft are poured into every expression. Whether it’s their classic bourbon or a limited-edition release, you can taste the experience and excellence.

Brenda, the tasting room manager, is a rockstar. She made us feel right at home, walked us through the lineup with infectious energy, and told the story of Milam & Greene with pride. She’s one of those people who makes you want to sit, sip, and stay a while.

The entire staff—from the folks behind the bar to the ones working the stills—are passionate, welcoming, and damn good at what they do. If you’re traveling through the Hill Country, Milam & Greene needs to be on your whiskey trail.

This place doesn’t just pour great whiskey—it pours great people, great stories, and great memories. Cheers from The Whiskey Trip.

My husband and I enjoyed our anniversary trip this year that included a trip to Milam & Greene Whiskey! Brenda Fisher was amazing. I wanted to purchase a sniffing glass for my husband but they were out. She gave me her card and said to email her in a few weeks when the glasses would be in and she would send one our way. Not only did she send us two glasses, but also, this set of their whiskey at no cost to us. To some this may seem like a small gesture but to us, this was a big deal. Her kindness was felt and we appreciate her and everyone at Milam & Greene!

Your whiskey and Rey were featured on we are Austin, on national whiskey day. I bought a bottle of port single cast Whiskey for our son in law, he is a beverage guy. The Rey went to a good friend of mine in ohio as well. They both are enjoying your Millam and Greene Port whiskey’s very much appreciated.

Excellent Whiskeys. I loved the single barrel and triple cask. Staff was very friendly and explained as needed. Get both flights so you can taste all of the Whiskeys.

We are visiting the area from NY and we’re very excited to visit the distillery. Unfortunately our experience was not what we anticipated it to be. The lady behind the counter was quite rude. First impressions are everything and she was not friendly at all. We were the only people in the place so it’s not like she was very busy. Had a few questions about the product which further seemed bothersome to her. Do better cranky lady…

Brenda on the other hand was very friendly as she took time out of her busy day to chat with us for a few minutes.

Unfriendly girl with long dark hair behind the bar acted like she was put out having to serve me. She didn’t offer any information about the drinks and doesn’t appear to enjoy her job.

We stopped by your distillery in Blanco, Texas today. We had a very cold greeting when we walked in. We’re the only customers in the tasting room. The lady behind the counter was not willing to explain anything about your product. She was not interested in promoting Milan and Green and she was not interested in having us as customers. We have lived in the area for over 50 years and had never stopped by your facility. We stopped by today for one small tasting and to buy a bottle of the product, but we were told that was not possible unless we did a flight tasting. A poor reflection on a product that we were hoping to sample and add to our bourbon collection

Never been, but if it’s Milam I know it’s good. Maybe one day I can visit
