I’ve been a big fan of their beer for a while, but the only thing that tops it is the service and how personal they are while serving you at the brewery. True enthusiast behind the bar that care about your experience. A must stop for beer connoisseurs on a Hill country trip.

So I just bought a sampler six pack bomber and this is what I have been looking for! The quadrupel, Black Quad, was crazy flavorful and got right on top of me! Perfect start to the evening. Followed that up with the scotch ale, Real Heavy, and that was the perfect finish. My wife was equally impressed. Eager to try the Russian Imperil , Commissar.

In a world where all I can find on the shelf is everyone's version of the same IPA, it's great to find a well crafted set of ales! This is definitely my new go to when I can't hit a local taproom. Please keep producing this product and sending it to my Katy HEB on Fry Road! Thanks so much!

This is a beer and distillery place only, no food. Good place to stop for a cold beer or their signature old fashioned when on a road trip or just a day trip. Don't let the boring plain building and small sign off of 281 fool you. Drive past it onto a tree shaded gravel parking lot. The tasting room is past the shaded area with picnic tables, and upstairs. There is an elevator. There is more seating outdoors/upstairs (see map pic). Staff have always been nice and attentive. Dogs allowed. Bring snacks. You can buy beer and spirits to take home.

This place is awesome! The quality of the beer and the spirits are both unmatched. The staff is knowledgeable and professional. The taproom is spacious and the outdoor area is amazing. Everything about Real Ale & Spirits is great! If you live in central Texas (or you’re just visiting), this is a place you must go to.

This is one of my top 2 beers in Texas. The tap tenders are my absolute favorite on this planet. When I walk in the door, they are already pouring my Axis IPA. If I were a daily guest that would not be a big deal but sometimes I go 3 months between visits. This is what the pros call Unreasonable Hospitality and it needs to be recognized. The human connection I feel here is above and beyond any I have encountered anywhere. Your product is great but your people are over the top stellar!

I've been coming here since it was just a simple metal building. Those were good times! Now, its modern, built out and much bigger. BUT, that doesn't detract from the experience. We came on music bingo night and had a blast!! Our pups were welcome and Sam did a great job taking care of us all evening. We live several hours away and the drive is worth it. Great job Real Ale keeping it real for all of these years.

Great craft beer and spirits. Beautiful hill country setting. I'm a fan of the Hill Country Bock. Taps rotate constantly. Take the brewery tour. My go-to in Blanco. I bought a bottle of their whiskey. Yum.

Supper cool place!

The couple of different beers had they all tasted greated but if i had to rate the best one i have had it would be the bock. But everything we had was very good even the lavender honey bee drink. Great time was had by all.

This is a pretty cool place, with a good vibe. Beers were great and the liquer was tasty and strong. We had a couple of beers and a flight of the whiskey. Several was very knowledgeable of her product.
If you're in the are i would definitely stop in here for a cold drink!
