First time here. I stopped to get some friends a couple of tarts-- one fruit tart and a keylime tart. They looked really pretty and delicious.

Utterly delightful. Bakery Lorraine is an absolute gem of a coffee/tea and breakfast/lunch spot. Staff were all super friendly and nice. The space is lovely, with gorgeous patios and views of grandiose old oak trees. Their avocado toast with pickled lentils and chili oil truly stood out as one of the most unique and delicious takes on the dish that I've tried yet!

I have mixed feelings.
I was driving in from San Antonio to meet up with someone from Comfort. So I just googled “coffee” and thought this might be a good fit.
I don’t eat meat- so there was not anything I could really eat and I wanted something besides a bowl of fruit for lunch.
The staff was actually helpful after we got through the questions and misunderstandings and one woman suggested an avocado sandwich, tomato and arugula.
When they brought me the sandwich- they forgot to put the avocado.

After the finally brought avocado to me in a bowl- I put it on my own sandwich-

So I had fries, made part of my avocado sandwich, and had a matcha for 31 dollars plus a tip for the register girl to put in my order and flip the screen around.

🤣 I don’t mind paying money for nice lunches and dinners-
But I literally could have gone to the grocery store, bought myself a tomato, and avocado a loaf of sourdough, a bag of chips and a matcha for way less.
Cute place- absolutely not worth it my money.

We had an amazing experience. The food was wonderful. We had the pop tart, macaroons, and breakfast sandwich. The vanilla latte was also fantastic. We were incredibly impressed with Bella. She was so attentive and warm and a pleasure to be around. She never stopped working and made our visit such a special experience. She’s a keeper!!

The only reason to go here is for their sourdough (which the never have enough of) or to pick up good coffee beans. I understand why but the staff are all high school students- just noting because that’s not something you’d expect for such a high price point. You order at a counter and they ask for a 20-25% tip which I understand if there was any type of service. It’s basically a drive thru as far as service goes. I would be fine with all of this if the $21 BLT and “hearty” side salad was completely lacking. Old (or artificial) avocado, 4 sprigs of lettuce and (in tomato season) one single thin slice of tomato. The salad was a hand full of lettuce doused in basically just lemon juice. The dressing was far too acidic to comfortably eat. Just really disappointed when you overpay thinking you’re treating yourself then come to find out, you could’ve done it yourself.

I loved sitting out on the patio eating my lunch the other day. I know it's hot but there was a nice breeze, the vibe was chill and my salad was on point. I will definitely be back to try some of the baked goods.

A little on the pricy side but the food was amazing! I got an iced chai latte and it was the best one I’ve had. My fiancé got the Breakfast Plate with Sausage and Bacon and he loved it. I got the Veggie Frittata and it was amazing! They have the best breakfast I’ve eaten in the Rim area.

Came here for breakfast. They only had one cook online who we felt sorry for being overwhelmed. We’ll give it another. Try in a few weeks.

Wonderful little bakery and cafe. I had a mocha and a grilled cheese sandwich made on fresh artisan bread, and it was one of the best meals I had in Boerne. They staff are very friendly, there is plenty of seating all over, and you can tell how high quality the ingredients are. Not the cheapest place in town, but you get what you pay for, and this cafe is definitely worth checking out when you are in the area.
