Yes it looks like hole n wall place, but ive never had a bad experience (unless when its unexpectedly closed). Food is good and staff is friendly. I mostly go for their lunch specials which depend on the day of the week. Most time a meal with a drink is just under 10 bucks.

I when to this restaurant they take long the lady on the drive Tru took 30 mins to give me the order of 6 tacos n she took 10 mins to give me back my change I'm not coming back so disappointed

Don Ruben's El Tejano, which used to be Yoli's Cocina but same ownets and staff, is consistently the best Mexican food place in Boerne. Over five years I have tried about half the items on the menu and they are all excellent. They also have the best restaurant coffee anywhere.

Great local restaurant that opens early for the breakfast crowd. Family owned and operated.
A place for locals and makes really authentic food. Not a large or flashy place but definitely popular for a reason. We had a great lunch after a nice spa day.

Pleasant, small cafe. Flour tortillas are machine-made on site but are lacking compared to handmade. Corn tortillas are very good. Prices are reasonable and the breakfast tacos are generous.
