We got the huge family deal and there was more than enough for 4 people (with 2 college age kids) and enough to take home. Their shopped beef/brisket and hash/potatoes really take the cake! Their potato salad isn’t homemade, but it’s the second best to homemade I’ve ever had. A little sweet, but nothing awful. If you’re not in a rush, I also recommend hop skip jumping across the street to Fabulous Finds Thrift.All in all, good food, great atmosphere, great service
Best BBQ in Boerne. Is there more to say? Generous portions. Great prices! You could go get a prime rib on main street and pay twice as much for half the quality. The prime rib is to die for, but really everything is amazing here. They don't know how to do mediocre. One last thing. The kids they have working there are amazing. Great customer service and communication. Love Fritz'sVegetarian options: The baked potatoes are a full meal, without meat. Lots of good side options too. And the prices are very reasonable at about $10 for a full vegetarian meal.Kid-friendliness: Great atmosphere. Very down to earth. Big roll of heavy duty paper towels at every table. And roomy booths.
We came from out of town, and decided to try it out. Food was delicious and they had some food specials. I got the brisket tacos, and husband got a BBQ spud. Staff members were fantastic and super friendly.

Love the bbq chicken plate with the macaroni salad and green beans. The chicken is always juicy, the macaroni salad has a mild spicy kick, and the green beans are tasty. Delicious!

Hate the town but love this place right here. My first bite of food was a piece of brisket and ever since I've had BBQ all over this country. But this establishment has by far the best cooked meat I have ever eaten. And the prices are extremely well set. This place and their people know BBQ.

This was delicious and after reading the other reviews I was a little surprised that it was as good as it was. Super friendly people, good value, and atmosphere is basic with a bit of country, but other than that it was wonderful. It’s a perfect place to meet people, you can purchase your food, and then sit down with a group if you like on picnic benches. Im already ready to go again!

Traveled from Medical Center area in search of BBQ on a 1230pm/Thur. This one beat 2M BBQ hands down. Good, moist sliced beef, jalapeno sausage with a slight after kick. BBQ sauce okay, slight sweet, ketchup taste that's better than most. Creamy Corn & Sweet Coleslaw-Good!. Allthis for $22 bucks, great price. Short 30 min drive for us today, we will be back again! Give them a try ?
