The day before my birthday, my wife wanted to take me to lunch. She has been trying to find a restaurant in the Boerne area to try and we found this place called Gather Boerne. We pass it every time we go to Boerne so this was a great opportunity to experience their food and service. They did not disappoint. The food is excellent, period. You order your food at the counter, pay, and then they will bring the food to you where you choose to sit. We wanted to sit outside but even though it was September, it was still pretty warm, so we choose to sit inside. It was a Friday lunch crowd and boy, it was pretty loud in there. There was a table full of ladies and they were catching up on the news, and this being an old house remodeled as an eatery, the noise is reflected instead of absorbed. It was loud! I wanted to move outside but the food came and we had to concentrate on the food. The menu choices may be limited but oh, was the food tasty and delicious! I would have licked the plate but I decided not to. The beef was so tender, moist, and absolutely delicious. It came as a sandwich but I ate it like a meal. The soggy bread soaked up the deliciousness and it was part of the fun! After lunch, we walked around a bit and took a few pictures. The area is picturesque and had picnic tables under tall trees. It looks very inviting. I'd go back there again but we will sit outside next time.

This restaurant is just a lovely place to gather! It has excellent food, fantastic staff and such beautiful outdoor areas! Great for children and dogs!! We can't say enough about this lovely restaurant...Boerne is so fortunate to have it!

We enjoyed the beautifully kept grounds. Clean comfortable seating inside or on shaded deck. We brought our dog and kids so we ate outside on picnic tables under huge oak and pecan trees where the kids could play while waiting for food. The food was fresh and delicious and the kids especially enjoyed the fresh fruit covered French toast. My favorite was the Bree, BLT. The homemade soup of the day was pickle soup! Yes, pickle soup and it was amazing!! Try it! Will definitely bring more friends and family to Gather.

This place was small and cute. Not a big selection but the food was perfectly prepared. I like a simple breakfast and I like to sit outside on a pretty day. The lemon cookie was sooooo good. It was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Really a perfect cookie. Everything tasted perfect. I would definitely come back!

Food was great as always, everyone is so incredibly nice and helpful, the house is wonderful and perfect for a farm like restaurant. My only complaint is that when you are busy, and you are because the food is so good, the noise level is prohibitive. Almost impossible to have a conversation when people are enjoying themselves and having a great time. I won't eat inside again if your busy until you do something about the noise. It's a good time to eat outside and that is a good option at this place.

I love a quirky spot with fun foods. But this place is just flat out complicated. The staff was not friendly, a tip was automatically added to my bill, a breakfast sandwich is $15, coffee is overpriced AND gross. My fiancé kindly asked for a new coffee because it tasted old. He was given the same coffee (poured right in front of him, no new batch made). Our hopes were high for such a cute place.

We just had brunch with our friends here for the first time. It was amazing in every way!! I had the French toast with fruit and my husband had the fried egg BLT. Delicious! The employees were nice and friendly and the outdoor backyard atmosphere was really enjoyable! We will definitely be going again!

Friendly venue on the north-side of Boerne with inside and outside seating that has a nice view. Not perfect and there are obviously some teething problems as they are new. Showed up on a Sunday at noon and had 16 people in front of our group waiting to order at the counter. Line moved pretty quickly though. Had selected some items from their online menu and then when it was our turn to order we were told that the menu that is posted online is not what they serve on Sundays. Instead we had to order from their 'paper' menu at the counter. This happened to several other people in line after us. The owners should address this. Inside seating was quite loud due to the crowd and it was hard to have a discussion at normal levels...outside is much quieter. We waited 46 minutes from time of order until our food was delivered. Don't know if this is crowd and time of day issue, staff issue, or inexperience issue. Hopefully they will improve with time. We had the Braised Beef and BLT. Taste was excellent but the temperature was 'warm' at best. They sold out of all pastries before we had a chance to go back and order some. Portions are small for what you pay (though they are a non-tipping facility). Overall it is a nice addition to Boerne. If they can fix the menu issue, food temperature issue, and wait time, they would earn a full five stars. We will certainly give them another try.

Refreshing new restaurant for Boerne. Nourishing beautifully crafted menu. Fresh, satisfying flavor profiles. The location is comfortable and relaxing, like going home. Got the "Yummy Goodness" seal of approval from the hubby. Definitely going again.

Quaint simple atmosphere, not full service but that made it rather quick which was what we needed. We had the peach french toast, avocado toast, and carne asada - everything was fresh and delicious!

Fantastic experience! Atmosphere, menu, staff all around a great time. If your looking for a brunch spot this is it. The owner brought us scones at closing and she pays her staff a living wage. I wish more businesses operated this way.

Gorgeous interior and exterior. Walk up counter service a breeze. DELICIOUS food, great prices. I love their fair-wage policy. Definitely my new go-to spot in Boerne.

This is a must try for anyone looking for great food and a tranquil atmosphere! I found this place on Yelp and after scrolling through the pics alone I was ready to try it. The restaurant is situated in a beautiful house nestled in the scenic hill country. The farmhouse decor and brightly spacious interior is a perfect setting for their wonderful food. I stopped in for breakfast and was immediately greeted by the gracious owner and the barista. They were happy to describe the food and delicious coffee drinks in detail. I ordered the Sweet Potato Bowl and a latte with Cajeta which is a Mexican caramel. The bowl was a perfect balance of healthy and savory delicious flavors. A lot of thought and care for fresh ingredients went into this dish and it was the perfect portion for my hungry appetite. The Cajeta latte is probably one of the best coffee drinks I've had and they have milk alternatives to choose from - I got mine with almond milk! The wrap around porch has plenty of seating for parties of one or many and there are also picnic tables on the beautiful grounds with lots of shade. Great food, great atmosphere along with amazing hospitality! I have to say this was such a wonderful way to start my day!

Pros: gorgeous place, attention to detail, great outdoors, kind servers, La Marzocco espresso machine, giant cinnamon rolls, pretty presentation of food, homemade good taste Cons: slow service (still new?), the frosting on the cinnamon roll had cream cheese (heads up lol to each their own)
