This is Texas barbecue. Ignore the gourmet stuff like Pinkerton's, this is the real deal with all of the sides that I still don't eat in adulthood. Reminds me of my childhood; sometimes you get lean brisket and sometimes you get the fatty end. Closed on Monday's but so are all the other places you want to eat at in Boerne.

Had some supposed smoked deer sausage a friend had processed, taste like weenies, was the worst sausage I ever tasted. Was in buck looking sticks w red casing, he’ll maybe it was supposed to be weenies. Would been better to open up a can Vienna sausages. Maybe the other stuff is good, but was highly disappointed.

Good selection of wild game meat and standard beef cuts. They have osso bucco (beef shanks), steaks, tenderloins, beef and venison jerky, snack sticks, and a bbq restaurant on site with turkey, brisket, and sides. I thought the brisket could have been better but my turkey poboy was great so I’d come back for that.
Prices are lower on their meat market than some other local places I’ve been to and they do deer processing on site. Overall a good one stop shop for a good inexpensive meal where you can get organic eggs and a wide selection of good meat cuts. Look forward to coming back.
