This tavern is a diamond in the rough. It has an extremely large outdoor area with a nice play area for kids. The menu has a good selection of appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, wings (bone-in, boneless, and tenders), pizzas, salads, even a kids menu. It has a very laid back vibe and a good selection of beer, booze, and wine. Definitely going back!

Great place to let the kids run around safely. My 7 and 8 year really enjoyed this place for hours. Food was decent to good. Basically what you would expect. Had a burger and fries which were not bad at all. Price tag is what you would expect being North of San Antonio. I would definitely take the family back if the weather is beautiful.Kid-friendliness: Kids love this place! Lots to do and everyone is having fun.

Very low quality food, the girl at the front was very short and didn’t seem like she had a great attitude. It does seem like this place caters to children so it would fit their taste well. We wouldn’t go back or recommend it to anyone.

First review after the change from Mi Casa. I like the expanded menu, but the food is still just okay. I'll keep coming here for the outdoor space and overall environment. Mostly disappointed by the change in the bar. The excellent margaritas are gone; current version is heavy on the sour mix and not great. We tried some other drinks and still not impressed - even my easy go-to drink, vodka/soda/lime, was not good. Hoping it's a learning curve and the new bartenders will figure it out. Still a good selection of draft beer, and TVs playing football. I've been a supporter of this place for years so I'll certainly be giving it another try.

Thought I’d try something new. Met a friend for dinner and drinks with our children. Spent around $160. Then had to deal with crying children all the way home because they were accused of stealing. They grabbed clear plastic cups off the counter to get water as it was 100+ degrees. We had already paid for drinks and their other cups were still in use. We will never be back. I called the manager after it happened and he defended the employee that they were stealing. They would have asked for cups if anyone was ever available at the counter.

Had the wings with mango habanero and sauced lemon pepper they are brined for 24 hours and just delicious. Not overly gooey and not under sauced, just perfect. Also had the nachos, WOW, great plate of "appetizer" food, this could be a meal in itself!! Definitely going back and everyone should go check this place out.First time there , everyone was friendly and we will be back.
Having been re-branded now for about a month, decided to try Mikey's. Overall a positive experience. Had the chicken deluxe sandwich with fries and hamburger with sweet potato fries. Both sandwiches were fine. The price (which includes basic fries) is within the normal range for the area (though a bit at the top of that range), but they do charge extra for sauces which seems somewhat strange. Fries were on par with other similar establishments. As with the previous incarnation, indoor seating is very limited (any party greater than 2 will most likely have to sit outside whether you want to or not), and this might be an issue on hot days. They do have outdoor fans, but those can also cause trouble by blowing food around. The outdoor area is excellent for bringing families or having large groups. Service was excellent and friendly and wait time was not bad. Once they expand their menu and increase the number of days they are open (management told us to expect this in the next month or two), things should take off. We will certainly come back again once the menu and open times expand.

Finally a place in Boerne that doesn’t break the bank, is fun for the whole family AND I can bring my dog!! Big fan of how many beers they have on draft & all the shady oak trees.. makes the summer time a little more bearable!

Great food and service was excellent. Brought my 2 year old daughter and she loved the bounce house. I recommend giving the wings a try. They were a good size and meaty. The pretzel from the appetizer menu was addicting. Had to order two.
