We LOVE Peggy’s! Husband and I have been here a couple times for date night. The ambiance is charming and comfortable. Our reservation was for 7:45p, so the parking was easy, and the restaurant was not full with the dinner crowd. Best steak we’ve ever had; we’ve tried ribeye, and aged NYS. We love Peggy's on the Green. We went this Saturday for my birthday. My husband made sure to make reservations and let them know that we were celebrating my birthday. They placed us in the very back area. Closed the doors and we didn't get to hear the music. We were very disappointed. Aside from that, the food was excellent. The waiter was super busy but accommodating. We just felt punished away from everyone.
I had pecan French toast with sausage. My wife had the crab cake with poached egg. They both were very good. The only complaint I have is the Menu print font was so small I could hardly read it.
