Ir was an absolutely gorgeous day, so my daughter in law and I decided to go for a drive in the Hill Country. On a whim, we also decided to explore a winery that we hadn't been to. Saint Tryphon is located right outside of Boerne. It's a gorgeous property (the drive was nice too). We were gretted by the staff and ordered a bottle of their Rose. You take an order number and then sit wherever you'd like (they have indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a covered patio). We had our wine brought over to us and thoroughly enjoyed not only the wine and the service but the ambiance. Wines are reasonably priced...the only thing I found slightly lacking was that there were no food choices other than a charcuterie board and snacks. That is still not enough reason to give less than a 5-star rating. They're kid- and -pet-friendly, too! The whole experience there was absolutely worth a return trip!

Unplanned visit & What a pleasant surprise, Red Wine tasting was superb in their rustic boutique tasting room.Bought their2019 Red Blend "Triptych".String of award winning Wines.Tasting room and relaxing patio sit adjacent to their estate vineyard.Friendly and knowledgeable staff, dog friendly. Known to get crowded,so may want to make reservations.No swimming allowed in the Pool . Plenty of parking.

Really great 100% Texas wines. I really appreciate the fact that they are doing all Texas. When I go to a winery in the middle of Texas hill country I do not want California grapes or blends that taste like something in a grocery store. Every wine I got in my tasting was original, delicious, and memorable. Left with a few bottles of our favorites. This is a must stop and see if you are in the area. Beautiful location and incredibly friendly staff.
